Project 366: Day 74 [April 30th]

Good morning everyone! :)

for the LAST DAY of our April Photo Challenge! Crazy, right? :)

Today's task was: 'Something that Makes You Sad'

Noo. My daughter doesn't make me sad... it's the fact that she's SO big that does :( Today marked Tayler being 13 months old. Is that insane or what??? I know I talk about it all the time... how fast time is going.. but honestly guys... it is! Days sometimes seem like they drag but the 13 months she has been alive are just flying! She was getting ready to take a nap here :) 

I had a lot to do today which kind of sucked considering it was SO gorgeous out! I had to do laundry from the weekend, dishes, check Ethan's homework he had to submit today, and edit pictures. Once I got all of that done and laid the kiddos down for a nap, I made 'stir fry' for Ethan and myself :) I don't know if you'd even call it 'stir-fry' haha but that's what we call it around here! I use Jamabalya rice to make it spicier, chicken, green peppers, and onions! Pretty tasty!

And after that, we took the kiddos out outside. I am telling you-- it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL out today!

You know me, I had to take my camera out with me, haha! I took the above picture on Instagram, but then I whipped my other camera out and got some pictures of Kenton and Tayler :) Here's one I LOVED of Tayler:

She was having so much fun, hehe! I just adore her!

Once we got home, the kids played in the play room for awhile. Tayler was cracking us up because she had the tent flipped and was looking at us through the top of it, LOL

What a goofball!

And I had to document.

I love wearing my husband's t-shirts to bed. They are just so much comfier than mine and I'm not even sure why, haha!

It's just comforting to me to wear them :) LOVE it :)

Project 366: Day 73 [April 29th]

Good morning everyone! :)

And now for the Project 366 for today:

Lets do the April Photo Challenge first. We're almost done!

and the task for today was: 'Circle.'

I did this in honor of my dad. I spent a lot of time with him yesterday.. and when I saw the word 'circle' it reminded me of this game he used to always play! He tried to get everyone to look at this circle his fingers made, LOL! I don't understand it, but that's my dad, haha! :)

I woke up this morning and Ethan and I decided to catch up on 'Southern Nights' that we missed Saturday evening. Does anyone else watch this show? I LOVE it. I hope it continues on! :) It's kind of like a country Jersey Shore, but it's awesome!

I just wish Devin would quit beating around the bush and finally make a commitment to Collin. Sheeeesh!

Anyways.

We got ready and I headed out to my photo sessions! I had 2 that were going to make it today.. and boy, was it gorgeous out!

Isn't that such a pretty spot for pictures? I just love it! :)

We had such a great day with two wonderful families!

After that, my mom came to pick Tayler up. She asked if she could take her for the evening, so we said sure! :) Ethan had a softball game and I never get to sit for the entire two games, so I was kind of excited, haha! Our first hour of being baby free... 

We went to our favorite mexican restaurant! :) First time we've been there alone since Tayler was born, haha! :) We had such a good time.. and ate entirely too much! I got 2 tacos and rice with queso sauce. It was amazing! And of course-- my favorite... chips and salsa. I don't think I breathed before it was gone, haha!

After that, we went out to the softball fields. I grew up here.. and it's so ironic, that after years of watching my dad and brother play ball here... I'm now watching my husband and other brother play ball here :)

It was suuuuch a nice night for softball! It was a little chilly, but seriously-- gorgeous! :) I had such a good time rooting for them! Love my hubby! :)

We left the ball field around 8PM and headed over to my parent's house to pick my sweet Tayler up! She was cranky when we got there, haha... we knew it was almost her bed time! But she played with her daddy for a little bit before we left!

She is seriously something else!

Thanks Mom and Dad for watching Tayler so we could have some alone time!!

Project 366: Day 72 [April 28th]

Morning bloggers! :)

I figured I'd kick off this morning with the April Photo Challenge! 

Today's task...

was.... '1Pm.'

Guess what I was doing at 1PM today?

Making fudge for the first time, haha! I'll be honest, it wasn't my best work, but hey-- it was my first time! :) It didn't set up properly.. that was my issue, but I may perfect it down the road! :)

It was still tasty even though we had to scoop it up with a spoon LOL :)

And Ethan decided to make lunch today. Well, while he was making lunch, I was keeping an eye on Tayler. She came over to the chairs that we use to block her from going in to the kitchen/dining room and that little booger figured things out. She pushed the chairs to get through, haha! I don't know why we thought she would never figure that out... but we were proven wrong today, haha!

Ornery, ornery, ornery!

But Ethan made dinner today. He made homemade baked chicken fingers, homemade onion rings, and homemade potato skins with sour cream, bacon, and cheese! :) I will say that it tasted amazing! I could have ate an entire serving of the onion rings if we had them! I dipped them in mustard and it tasted AMAZING!!

Thanks for lunch, E! It was nice to not have to worry about cooking today hehe! :)

After lunch, we went to some antique stores (and of course a pawn shop for Ethan haha!) My mom met us there too. She hadn't seen Tayler in awhile, so she wanted to visit! :) While we were there, Ethan pointed out this painting that was there and we thought... 'Hey! That would look perfect in our house!!'

Isn't that just beautiful? :)

I can't wait to hang it up!

And we got some props for our photo sessions! This is one of them (Tayler decided to be my model for a minute, haha!)

And while we were there, my mom laughed because Tayler was completely occupied by the bowling balls there haha! She sat there and played with them the entire time we walked around the store! All she was doing was pushing them and they'd roll back a little bit, haha! She is too cute! :)

Once we got home, Ethan headed to his softball game, but it was entirely tooooo cold and wet for Tayler and I to go, so we hung out at home! :) Once Ethan got home, we got Tayler dressed in her peejays and we went to see our friends Matt and Carrie's new house. Here's Tayler before we headed out the door. I LOVE those peejays that TJ and Lakin got her!

Project 366: Day 71 [April 27th]

So the morning started EARLY, haha!

I watched Natalie over night, so I had to get her off with her Mommy at about 7AM. And well, Tayler decided that was the PERFECT time to wake up.... so, I figured since I was already up and Kenton wasn't here yet, I would get started cleaning! Like I've said before, I give all of you mommies with 2 mobile babies MAD PROPS for cleaning your house, haha! It is difficult to do with two munchkins! I got the entire downstairs cleaned before Kenton got here, which is pretty good! :)

And well, that must have worn Tayler out watching me do that...

She was ready for a nap by 10AM, haha! Poor baby! I told her... there's something that fixes that! If we sleep in... we don't need naps so early LOL! I don't think she bought it, haha!

But she eventually woke up. She can't ever sleep when Kenton is here and she knows she has a buddy to play with, haha! Once she woke up, I took a picture of her because I wanted everyone to see how freaking ADORABLE my child is. I LITERALLY have the cutest kid ALIVE. Oh my word!

We are in SO much trouble with that cute face, y'all!

Once she was up and the house was cleaned, I got started working on the grocery list and clipping coupons. It's an addiction. I'm not one of those crazy couponers, haha, but I just clip enough to bring the grocery bill down a little bit!

And I got all of the meals for the week figured out!

Monday- Stir Fry.
Tuesday- Meatloaf/Mashed Potatoes
Wednesday- Ethan is cooking. He said he's making chicken strips, potato skins, and onion rings

Thursday- Broccoli and Cheese Soup/French Bread

Friday- Chicken Teryaki and Rice

And for the weekend we can have some lunch meat sandwiches and macaroni and cheese. Just something simple!

And after that was finished, I decided to get a cup or two of coffee. I promise, by 3:00PM today, I was completely exhausted. I don't know if it's from being sick this week or what, but I felt run down. I thought coffee would do the trick! I wrote on FB that 'Just smelling coffee gave me energy.' So true!

Yum!

After that..it was grocery shopping time! We made our switch off... Kenton left and Natalie came. And we were off!

Papaw and Ethan came along too! Towards the end, Tayler was getting restless, so Papaw got her out to 'play' haha! She is sooooo spoiled! Guess what she got?

Yep! A giant purple ball, haha! I think Papaw just adores her! :) We had so much fun!

So, I figured I'd do the April Photo Challenge real quick...

The task today was: 'Somewhere You Went..'

and well...

We went grocery shopping, haha! Our cupboards and fridge was BARE... we needed a lot of things! :) It feels good to see some yumminess in front of ya!! haha!

We even got the girls some jammies.

They were on sale.. and they needed them gosh darn it, haha!

And oh my word, we were laughing at Tayler's hair last night because she had piggy tails in all day.. and this is what she looked like after..

Hilarious!

Project 366: Day 70 [April 26]

I thought I'd start off today with the April Photo Challenge :)

Today's task was: Black + White.

I took that to mean Black AND White.

That's my gorgeous girl. I took pictures of her and the little guy I baby sit today and I just loved her eyes in this one :) Such a  pretty girl!

And she looked too cute today! I told everyone that I absolutely loved her onesie! I bought it for $1 and it was TOO cute for words! This was the first time she got to wear it. But I was heartbroken.... it was 18 months and fit PERFECTLY. Where's my baby? :(

She's just too precious for words, I tell ya!

And on instagram today, everyone was posting pictures with the hashtag #throwbackthursday, so I figured I'd do the same! 

First picture of my little girl... EVER. Gosh, I miss that moment! :( It makes me want another one sooooooooooooooooooooooo bad. 

But.. I'll move on so I don't get all emotional on you all! 

Here's my big girl now. She naps all on her own. It's insane. She just got on the couch and laid her head on the pillow. I got her a blanket. She laid like this for awhile...

And then she soon fell asleep just like that! What a sweetheart! But she missed out on dinner. I'll be honest. It was rainy here yesterday and I had absolutely NO motivation to cook, so we ordered...

PIZZA HUT.

We got the box deal for $10. A pizza, breadsticks, and cinnastix. Oh, it was absolutely AMAZING let me tell you! :)

And Tayler finally woke up....

Must have been a hard nap, eh? Check out that hair, haha! She is such a cute and rough waker-upper!! :) LOL

After that, we stripped her down and let her eat some dinner! She loves her some pizza... then she cuddled... diaper and all.. with her daddy! I don't think y'all even comprehend how much I love these two!

I am one blessed lady, I will tell you that much! :)

And we finally got Tayler a bath and some peejays and oh my word, she was cracking us up. Natalie brought a book with her tonight and Tayler was walking around with it and it looked like she was reading it. It was hysterical. I think she just liked her reflection in the little mirror, haha, but it was still precious nonetheless! :)

And darn it, I was wrong about American Idol... as usual! I predicted Hollie going home and Elise went home! So sad :( And I cannot believe Skyler was in the bottom 3! :( Ridiculous!
