Project 365: Day 422- January 26th

Once again, I spent my day working on stuff for class. I'm still trying to get extremely caught up and I'm slowly but surely getting there :) It's actually kind of relieving to know I won't have to work on stuff once I get it all done-- then I can focus on my child.. and having her :) And while I'm working on homework, you know I ALWAYS have to be watching something. Today's poison? Desperate Housewives Season 1-- STILL, haha! Sorry, there are 24 episodes! I'm almost done though... one left :) I'll work on that tomorrow (then it's back to Ghost Whisperer for a few days, haha!)



And guess what we got today? Tayler's car seat, base, and stroller! Now, now, now... before anyone says "You're having a girl right? That's not very girly"... it was only $100 for both at Walmart. A great sale on a great item! :) And it's jungle themed-- my daughter will likely be a crazy monkey (she is in the womb, haha) sooo it fits her perfectly. There's a hint of blue in it, but there's also yellow and orange. It works :) And I LOVE IT. And guess what? I put it all together myself! WAHOO! Another accomplishment under my belt LOL!

How cute is that?? :) I know, I know! I'm SO happy, hehe! :)

And guess what else happened today? I got new glasses! :) I know, I have like a thousand pairs, but I can't help it, haha! I'm always looking for a new style or something. Here they are:

And I have to say sorry for the quality of my pictures! :( MY CAMERA BROKE. And yes, I am devastated. We don't really have the money to buy a new one right now, so I guess my cell phone is just going to have to do. I'm heartbroken :(

But anyways, last night we went to Toms Ice Cream Bowl for dinner with my parents for my momma's birthday! She turned "45" yesterday.. and doesn't look a day over 30 hehe! :) Here she is with one of their hats on for it being her birthday:

Ethan and I got a hot fudge sundae (with chocolate ice cream) and he got marshmallow on the side, haha! We had a great evening! We headed home, watched American Idol, and went to bed!

Project 365: Day 318- October 14th

In honor of Project 101 in 1001, I decided to try a new recipe today in my new crock pot. I'm just going to be honest here-- I hate using new appliances, new pots, new pans... new anything because I hate getting them dirty! lol I want them to stay beautiful, perfect, and clean forever. But, obviously that can't happen, so if I'm going to get a crock pot dirty, might as well make it dirty with some yummy, yummy food! My first new recipe was: Cheesy Potatoes. Ethan's mom gave me the recipe and it was so good. I tweaked it just a little bit for my own taste, but here's what I did:

- Throw in one bag of Tater Tots on the bottom of the crock pot
- Add a bag of shredded cheddar cheese
- Add a small bowl of sour cream
- Add a can of cream of chicken soup (I think I should have added two)

Put all of that on high for a little over an hour and voila-- cheesy potatoes! We ate these with some toasted turkey/ham sandwiches and it was a great, quick, easy dinner! :)

And after dinner, we obviously had dirty dishes and GUESS WHAT. Oh yes, I did those in my new sink :) They look so good and smell so good afterwards. I am soooo happy!!

And is it sad that most of my excitement these days comes from new appliances, new plates/bowls, and new glasses? We got some new glasses tonight for only $4.00 and oh, I was in heaven! I poured a glass of sprite with tons of ice and it was HEAVEN. hehe! :)

And today, 10/14 marked 15 weeks pregnant! :) That's right folks. Baby B has been baking for 15 weeks. And we have only 21-25 weeks to go, eek! And, we have 9 days til we find out what Baby B is! Ahhh, we can hardly wait! Here's a few snapshots of my tummy this week:

And Ethan and I ended our night cuddled up watching "Cop Out," but unfortunately, I couldn't stay awake. Dear heavens, this is the 2nd night in a row I've fallen asleep during our movie time haha! I just get so at peace laying on his chest, hehe :)

Project 365: Day 295- September 21st

I got my new glasses today! They're PINK. Oh yes, my favorite color. I absolutely love them hehe! I think they accent my face really well and they always make my cheeks look rosy pink hehe! :) And after getting these, I decided to spend my whole day with the internet off as well as the TV and work on a project I have been working on:

And then Ethan came home with YUMMY pizza hut! I got a meaty p'zone and breadsticks! SO GOOD!!

And Ethan brought home a maternity dress shirt and dress pants that his sister bought me. They are adorable! Thank you Susan!

And then Ethan and I cuddled up and watched "The Day After Tomorrow" and went to bed :)

Project 365: Day 211- June 29th

Well, as you can see... I ordered some new glasses today! I order from www.zennioptical.com :) It's an amazing site hehe! Yes, these glasses are a little... odd, haha! But I LOVE them and cannot wait to get them.. hurry hurry hurry! This lady is impatient when it comes to mail, haha!

And then after ordering some new glasses, I headed to Kohls. They were having a sale on some of their shirts.... I got 5 shirts for $20! Sounds like a deal to me :) 3 of the shirts were for me:

I'm gonna wear the blue one on the 4th of July hehe! Yay! And then 2 of the shirts were for Ethan. That boy loves his muscle shirts.. PLUS they had cars on them! He was in heaven, haha!


And then I went over to Dollar Tree to get some cranberry juice! :) It's much needed considering how I've been feeling lately. UTIs are SO not fun!


Then, Ethan and I went down to the river to help his brother get the other jet-ski running. And it FINALLY did.... after all the smoke cleared, haha! :)

And then, I came home, scrapbooked, and watched "Pretty Little Liars." Here are the scrapbook pages I worked on:
