Project 365: Day 471- March 16th

Quote from Quotemeal to start the day off with:

"If you can't feed a hundred people, then feed just one." [Mother Teresa]

I didn't do much today. I know, are you like completely surprised? haha! It was just one of those days. We are getting closer to having this baby... and I just decided to take it easy today :) But I had a little wiggle worm in my tummy today. I took a video for everyone to see, so click this link and enjoy the 1 minute jam session of Tayler Bay!

I swear she was trying to get out, haha! But someone should tell her she can't come that way! LOL :)

After enjoying the day feeling her moving around, I got things together to make stir fry for dinner. This is such a simple meal and one of our favorites!

I take chicken and cook that, slicing it up into pieces. (I cooked this chicken in light butter with pepper, salt, and garlic) After the chicken is cooked, add in chopped up green peppers and onions. Continue cooking over high heat until the chicken is browned and the green peppers/onions are soft. I also made brown rice to go under the chicken and peppers! :) We LOVED it. And I hope you do too!

And then it was AMERICAN IDOL time!!

And here's my American Idol recap along with who I think will be in the bottom 3 tonight and who I think will go home. I got it right last week (as far as who was being voted off goes...) so lets see if I can do the same tonight! :)

Who do I think is WITHOUT A DOUBT safe?

1. Casey Abrams (LOVED his performance too! Out of the box, as always!)
2. Scotty McCreery (Amazing, as usual!)
3. James Durbin (LOVED his performance last night)
4. Stefano Langone (not my favorite, but he did good last night)
5. Paul McDonald (one of my favorites!)
6. Lauren Alaina (even sick she tore that song up!)
7. Pia Toscono (she played it safe, but it was flawless)
Safe (but on the border)
8. Jacob Lusk
9. Karen Rodriguez

Bottom 3:
10. Haley Rinehart (I LOVE her, but I think she's picking some odd songs and the judges comments will hurt her)
11. Thia Megia (Played it safe. A little too young for the competition, personally)
12. Naima Adedapo (not a fan, whatsoever, haha)

And with that being said, I think NAIMA will be voted off tonight.

Stay tuned on FOX at 8PM to find out. PLUSSSSS.....

THIS MAN (Lee Dewyze) is performing tonight! My favorite from last season :) You don't want to miss that!

Cheers to Project 365!

Project 365: Day 455- February 28th

Today was the last day of February and if you all can remember, my goal was to have all of my homework done by the 1st of March. So, I knew I had TODAY to get 3 homework assignments done and well guess what? I buckled down! And guess what? I finished the last homework assignment about 10 minutes before I had to walk out the door to my doctor's appointment. YAY!! :) Yes, I am finished. All assignments are saved on my laptop and a flash drive and they are ready for submission. It is so relieving to know that now, all I have to do is focus on chunking up Tayler... and delivering her :)

Then, it was time for our 35 week appointment. This is our last every 2 week appointment. The next appointment starts our every week appointments, wahoo! :) It was a pretty good check up today, thank God! I have a problem with being nervous at ANY doctor appointment which always makes my blood pressure go up, but today-- it was NORMAL. :) It's amazing, because the whole way there I prayed and prayed that God would make it normal so they could see I don't have high blood pressure, just a problem with being nervous.. and He did it! He is such an amazing God! :) We're not dialated yet. The doctor said that's what he wants to see at least for about 2 more weeks or so... so Tayler is listening :) But she was a little pistol at this appointment, haha! There was a nursing student in there getting her heartbeat today... and she would find the heartbeat and she would start counting (must have been for a class or something? not sure, haha) and she'd get about 4 seconds into counting and our sweetheart would MOVE. LOL Then she'd lose the heartbeat... haha! She told us we had an ornery one... oh honey, I already know that! :) Welp, we'll see where we're at at the next appointment!

Once I got home, I hurried up and cut up everything I needed for stir fry and started cooking it for dinner. It's a favorite around here (well, besides breakfast casserole, haha) soooo we were both pretty excited about it :) It's SO yummy!

And I spent some time editing my blog-- it has a "St. Patrick's Day" theme now! Go check it out. Oh wait, you already are ;) haha! Hope you all enjoy it!

And we finished the evening cuddled up watching "Pretty Little Liars." Oh yes, it's our addiction.  :)

Project 365: Day 442- February 15th

I just thought I'd take a random snapshot today of this belly :) I feel like it's getting more and more torpedo like, haha!! I'm so happy and so excited. Today marks at the minimum 30 days until we get to meet our sweetheart. An estimated 30-51 days. AHHHHH! :)

So what did I do in light of realizing this news? I cleaned up our living room and kitchen. It still had all of the stuff from the baby shower in it... and I hate messes, haha! So, I figured I'd take today to put everything in her room. It might not be the most organized, but it's in there. :) Here's a shot of the laundry basket her great Grandma got her and her bed :)

And here is Tayler's bed with her stuffed animals AND her beautiful personalized Bible :)

And we've got her pacis, paci holders, mittens, and books on the shelf :)

And I picked her coming home outfit too! YAY :) Now we can pack that up! I LOVE it. I picked an adorale little jean dress that I bought at JC Penney for like $4.00 (yes, we love bargains haha!), a cute little light pink onesie, a beautiful jacket with lime green and pink polka dots on it (you never know what this weather will be like in March/April, let me tell ya, haha!), white socks, and I picked a few different things to go on her head just in case... we have a headband with a flower, another headband, a few hats... and of course, her mittens and socks! :)

Here's the outfit:

And all of the other goodies with the outfit:

Yes, she's going to look just adorable, hehe! :)

And this is what our kitchen/living room looks like now! We've almost got everything put away :)

After all of that work, I was WORN OUT, haha! I relaxed for a few then realized that my husband was on his way home from work, so I chopped a few onions and a few green peppers... got the chicken together.. threw it in a skillet, added some pepper/salt/garlic.. and voila :) We were having stir fry for dinner! Plus, I made a pot of brown rice. YUMMY!!!!!!!!

We enjoyed 2 helpings a piece of that, haha! :) We were starving :)

And after that, we loaded up the truck and went to pick up a new mattress! OH yes, you could say this preggo momma was excited!!! My back hurts so bad and it was just time for us to have a nicer, comfier mattress. And that's what we did. Oh and please don't mind my husband acting like he was sleeping haha! He was in love as soon as he laid down on it :)

And then we literally went to bed. We were too excited about the mattress to NOT go to sleep LOL!

Project 365: Day 406- January 10th

I had a pretty boring day today... There was a project due for class, so I spent my entire morning working on that! It was easy though-- a 15 to 20 slide Power Point presentation :) Once that was finished, it was time for my doctors appointment. Oh heavens, the dreaded glucose test was today. Word to the wise-- NEVER eat anything before your test even if they tell you it's alright. DON'T. Because guess what? I failed. I was SO disappointed and frustrated. And because I failed, I have to take that darn 3 hour glucose test at 6:30AM Wednesday morning *sigh* Here's the lovely paper I got for that:

Yes, I was disappointed, but I guess you gotta do what you gotta do, right? Lets just all pray that God intervenes and I do not have gestational diabetes. In Jesus name.

I finally got home about 3PM and was running late on everything, haha! So, I did the dishes, cleaned up, chopped some green peppers and onions, added the chicken, and started cooking stir fry for dinner. Oh, I crave this stuff-- it was SUPER yummy :)

We always put it over brown rice :) YUMMY.

After that, Ethan headed over to play some ball, I worked on my project.. but we came back together and cuddled up to watch "Pretty Little Liars" at 8PM hehe!

Project 365: Day 372- December 7th

I spent a good part of my day CLEANING. Yes, as I always state-- this house was a complete mess after the weekend. I don't know why we let it get out of control, but it happens, haha! So, I spent today vacuuming, scrubbing, lighting some candles, doing laundry, doing dishes... oh, it was totally a fun time, haha!

Oh and can I just say I LOVE my swiffer jet :) So much better than mopping, haha!

After cleaning, I got a summer dress for Tayler from Target. Eek! I absolutely LOVE it hehe!

I focused in on the little bow on the dress because it's ABSOLUTELY adorable hehe! :)

And after that, I cut up some green peppers and onions for dinner. It was a chicken stir fry kind of night! :) I got the chicken cut up, cooked it in the skillet, added the peppers and onion, and this is what we had:

And we had that all over brown rice. Not to toot my own horn as I always say, but it was yummy hehe! It's my momma's recipe :) SUPER good.

After that, Ethan told me it was OUR night. He turned off his phone (people are ALWAYS calling it) and we laid around on the couch all night watching "Home Alone 2" hehe!

Cheers to Project 365!

August 13th Journal Prompt: Anger.

The journal prompt of the day is: How do you deal with your anger? I bottle a lot of my emotions up inside. If I feel anger- it may show on...
