Project 365: Day 352- November 17th

Boy, I'm sure you all are talking about what an INTERESTING week I have had, hahaha! Sorry, Ethan has been working some crazy hours... and I did all my homework at the beginning of the week AND cleaned. So, like everything I HAVE to do... is done, hahaha! Which could be why my Project 365 has been totally lacking this week. I'm super sorry. Thanksgiving is next week though so I should have some pretty awesome pictures of that, Lord willing :) So, what did I do yesterday? Well, I washed our bedding. I LOVE clean bedding. I LOVE the smell of clean bedding *sigh* If I could wash our bedding every day, I totally would haha! Here's a good look at it after I got it washed...

Looks nice and comfy huh? Yesss, it was! And yes, you can see my snacks over there to the left, haha! What preggo woman DOESN'T have snacks next to her bed? Okay, maybe it's just me, but I'm a late night snacker. Oh, and don't frown at me-- they're all healthy. Well, besides the slim-jims, but shhhh! :)

While washing the bedding, guess what else I did? STARTED WATCHING THE OFFICE :) I've seen a few episodes here and there and totally busted up laughing during every single one, but I've never watched The Office straight through, so I started Season 1 today. Fortunately, they have every season on Netflix, Hallelujah!

After watching a few episodes, Ethan finally came home and we got ready to go to Sertoma Pancake Day in Zanesville. If you're interested, you can check out what exactly Pancake Day is here. I, unfortunately, did not take any pics partially due to the fact that I was scarfing down all-you-can-eat pancakes, sausage, and orange juice, haha! (We went with my mom and dad. I definitely need to add that in there, hehe!) But I took a picture off of Zanesville Times Recorder's website to show you a little bit of what was going on:

They make pancakes on those huge, uhm, pans? LOL and they set them right there on the table... you walk past, pick up a plate of pancakes, walk further and grab some sausage, and an OJ and have a seat. Amazingness. PLUS, we got the tickets for free. Beautiful :)

After that, we headed home and watched the new "Karate Kid." Such a good movie! Will Smith's son does an excellent job as well as Jackie Chan :)

Project 365: Day 317- October 13th

I got to be a house-wif.. er... girlfriend today :) I did 4 loads of laundry and oh my heavens, I LOVED it! You know, you hear people complain all the time about doing laundry, but let me tell you something-- when you don't have a washer/dryer in your home for almost a year-- having one will BLESS YOUR SOUL hehe! I was in complete heaven today. All of the clothes in our house is clean and they smell so so good! I even washed our sheets and what not :) Oh, it was a good day hehe!

Time Warner Cable stopped by and hooked up our new home phone today :) We even bought another cordless for the bedroom, so we have 2 phones in our house! I LOVE it. Of course, our first phone call was for food, haha! But we are so so happy we have this!

And Aaron's Furniture came and delivered our new fridge! We are going to rent one right now until we find one we can afford. It's only $40 a month, so we figured "Why not?" right? We LOVE it! So pretty, so big! I'm in heaven, haha! I keep saying that a lot, huh? :) I am just so happy!

And the inside--

Enough stuff for my lunch and for dinner tomorrow, haha! It's a work in progress lol!

And I got a new crock pot because my old one broke :/ sad, sad day! I loved that precious thing, but this one is gorgeous too hehe!

And by the end of the night, we were beat once again! It's been a long week moving, shopping, etc. So, we cuddled up in bed and watched "Surf's Up." (Ethan's favorite animated movie, haha)

Cheers to Project 365!

Project 365: Day 299- September 25th

Woke up this morning feeling terrible yet again *sigh* But my loving boyfriend went to McDonalds and grabbed some hot cakes and sausage for me :) Such a sweetheart! And then he left to go ride his street-bike and I folded the laundry and hung it up! We had 2 huge baskets full. It was needed! :)

After that, Ethan and I ordered some pizza: half pepperoni, half bacon/onion, got some drinks, and snacks and prepared to watch the OSU/EMU football game. Oh and I found my FAVORITE snack in the WORLD yesterday! These Doritos:

Oh my gosh! HEAVEN :) Try them sometime. You'll love it!

Then, I plopped myself down on the couch with my laptop to twitter the games and watched the OSU Buckeyes stop the EMU Eagles 73-20. Amazing game! Loved every second of it.. even if I was alone most of the time, haha!

Then we went to a local pizza shop, came home, watched Titanic, and went to bed! :)

Project 365: Day 298- September 24th

I woke up this morning.... really sick. I thought I had this morning sickness thing under control, but apparently--- not every day is going to be a good day LOL I had plans to head to my parents house, so I finally pulled myself together, gathered up my bags and laundry, and headed in town. It took all my strength to keep it together and just get there, but I finally did. Walked in, ate a little bit, laid on the couch, and fell asleep. I was exhausted, haha!

After sleeping for a few, I got up and did our laundry. There were 4 loads... so it took me a good bit, haha. But it's done... FINALLY! :)

Then I napped...... AGAIN. I was beat yesterday for some reason! And after waking up, we grabbed some Dominos pizza and headed to the football game. It was the homecoming game and they were announcing homecoming queen:

And my sweet friend Lyndsey won :) Congrats hunnie!

After that, the game got started!

And it was a great game to start off with-- and then it started to rain!! Like rain.. A LOT. We were all huddled under umbrellas.. freezing our booties off, haha! Here's a view of the umbrella and the rain:

Well, finally the rain stopped. And we all settled in for the rest of the game, but then I had a taste of little Ethan's pop corn and it made me want some, haha! So, I asked my mom if she would go to the concession stand with me. She agreed. And while we were standing in line... it started to POUR. I'm talking a torrential down pour. It was insane. We were trying to rush back to our seats and I was trying to not fall haha! We finally made it back to our seats and huddled together, but the umbrellas were draining onto my lap. My pants were drenched and sucked to my body. I was freezing. So, mom offered to drive back home! Thank God. Here we are once we finally got home... love our hair, huh? haha!

Once we got home, I changed in to some warm clothes, cuddled up on the couch, ATE SOME POP CORN, and talked with mom about life and stuff :) It was nice to just spend some time with the folks today! Then, I packed up my car and headed back home to see Ethan. He went to a cage fight all night.. I missed him!

Cheers to Project 365!

Project 365: Day 289- September 15th

Started off my morning with laundry! Yay :) haha! Fortunately it was just a lot of folding and hanging up. But it's done and that feels like a weight off of my chest!

Then, because I love Ethan oh so much, I made him lots of homemade donuts for in the morning before work :)

After working on this, I ordered Baby B a set of Ohio State booties and a beanie from a store called "Hooked With Love." I am so excited to get these! :)

And I finally got my shirts from Old Navy! I got 3 total, but I'll only share one :) They are so comfy and I have plenty of room to grow in them hehe!

Then, Ethan met my dad for some Tae-Kwon-Do and I met my mom so we could go grab some dinner at one of our favorite places to eat in town hehe! Here's Dad and Ethan after class:

And Ethan doing a high kick hehe:

And little Ethan showing off his skills:

And here's mom and I after our dinner :)

It was a great evening. We came home... and went to bed haha! We were exhausted :)

Cheers to Project 365!!!

) Even if you don't have a blog, I know that you read them. This page is dedicated to your favorite blogs!! What are they? Are there any blogs that you can't go a day without checking?

First off (in no particular order)- CecilliaMarie: This woman has some amazing pieces of writing. She pours her heart in to her blogs. You can feel her love for God, her husband, and life. She offers encouragement and encourages me to be a better person.

I-Create: I enjoy checking out Ev's blog because it makes me laugh and we all can use a good dose of humor in our lives right? Sure, we can! It's a light-hearted blog that's quite neat and interesting to read.

unabridgedtales: She isn't afraid to put her beliefs on her page and I admire that. She is easy to talk to and is an amazing writer. I had to give her some major props here recently when I posted a blog about "why I believe in God" and she didn't once bash my beliefs. It was a respectful reply back to my post and it was appreciated. I give much respect to this woman!

x_rachelizabeth: This woman has a heart of gold. If you want to read something that blesses you, touches your heart, and makes you grateful for what you have in life--- stop by here. Every time I visit her page, I leave lifted. AMAZING.

There are TONS of others that I read on a daily basis, but I only had so much room! If I didn't mention you, don't worry, I still appreciate your writing :)

And after I worked on this and my final project, I went with Ethan to watch him play some basketball with his boys :)

And here's what I did while watching them play ball:

And after they played ball, Ethan and I ordered some pizza and wings and enjoyed those while watching "Kicking and Screaming" with Will Ferrell... then we headed up to the laundromat to do some laundry!

And on our way home from doing laundry.... WE RAN OUT OF GAS. Here's a not happy Alyssa LOL

And here's Ethan putting gas in the car after we walked to the police station to get a gas can and to the gas station to get gas! lol

What an eventful day!

Project 365: Day 227- July 15th

I spent the first half of the morning folding and hanging up 4 loads of laundry. I was a little behind, k? haha :) But while hanging up, I just decided to color coordinate and section off all of our clothes. Our living room looked like Walmart exploded haha! But the left half of the closet is Ethan's clothes... color coordinated and his T-shirts come first, then muscle shirts, then work shirts. The right half are my clothes... color coordinated and sectioned. The first half are tank tops, then t-shirts, sweaters, and dresses.

After working on that, I got started on dinner because it had to be in the crock pot for about 4 hours. What'd I make? Allow me to show you :)

Spicy Jalapeno Nacho Dip.

How is it made you might be asking?

Take a lovely crock pot and cut up 2 blocks of Heluva Good Jalapeno cheese into little squares and dump those suckers in:

Next take one package of Great Value Mild Sausage (or any other kind of sausage I suppose) and drop it in the skillet along with some chopped up onions:

Brown this thoroughly. As you're browning the sausage/onions, dump jalapenos on top of the cheese in the crock pot as well as some more onion:

After you've browned the sausage, drain it, and dump it over the jalapenos, onions, and cheese. Mmm!

Cook on low for 3-4 hours and when it's finished... it'll look something like this:

Of course, you can add salsa... or any thing else you want :) Then serve it over tortilla chips.

Yummy!

After getting dinner together, MY NEW GLASSES CAME. FINALLY. :)

(crazy blue/orange flowers lol)

(brown/blue ones :))

Also, I am a PROUD GRAMMAR NAZI and I cannot handle someone misspelling you're/your. so, I blogged about it... and apparently people felt the same since it was #18 on Top blogs. Wahoo haha :)

Then I worked on some scrapbooking:

(Tongues & Creepers--- our traditional pictures have me sticking out my tongue and Ethan's creeper face, haha)

Cheers to Project 365! :)

Project 365: Day 226- July 14th

I hadn't been to my parent's house in about a month (since dad's graduation party) and my mom is on vacation this week, so I drove down to their house yesterday morning to spend the day! Plus, we don't have a washer/dryer at our apartment... so, she told me I could do laundry there, haha :) Dad said I'm starting to act like Corey, haha! :)

And once my mom came home, she said "Alyssa, I hate to be the bearer of bad news BUT.... you have a flat tire.." *sigh* Go figure, right? haha! But I'm glad it at least happened when I was already at my parents! lol

Dad put the donut on later. Thank heavens! :)

So, mom and I spent the day by the pool. It was so relaxing! She made cheeseburgers and fries and we just chillaxed. I LOVED it :)

And after we spent the day by the pool, my parents packed up and drove up to where we live so we could all go out to eat with Ethan and Ethan's mom :) We went to our FAVORITE local restaurant and had such a great time! It was hotter than Hades in there, haha, but we had fun! :)

And after dinner there, we went jet-skiing! It was SO hot out. I was miserable. So, we threw on our swim suits, grabbed our life jackets, picked up the jet skis and tube, and headed to the river :)

Here's me tubing:

And Ethan jet-skiing :)

Good day, good day :)

Cheers to Project 365!

August 13th Journal Prompt: Anger.

The journal prompt of the day is: How do you deal with your anger? I bottle a lot of my emotions up inside. If I feel anger- it may show on...
