Project 365: Day 164- May 13th

I spent the morning working on homework assignments AND finally getting our printer to work! We got a USB cord for it thanks to Marilyn and it's working... yay! :) I was sooo happy hehe!

And this would be our FIRST printed page hehe :) What is it you might be asking yourself... our grocery list :D Yes, I feel grown up hehe!

and oh, how exciting... we got our FIRST net flix movie today thanks to Daphney! I don't know if you're reading this, but your coupon came in handy hehe! We ordered "Last House on the Left" and oh my lanta, I'm so excited to watch it! :)
And once Ethan got home, we headed over to his basketball game!

And the final score was 54-35. Ethan's team scored the "54." He actually let me come to a game (apparently I make him nervous, haha) and guess what.. HE WON :) I just might be a good luck charm. He even had 14 points. Good job baby :)

And to make the time spent watching Ethan's basketball game go faster (haha) Carrie, Linda, and I chit-chatted! Their boyfriends played for the opposing team, but hey, they're my friends so we made it work, lol! Linda is Fred's girlfriend and Carrie is Matt's girlfriend. And oh yeah, my boyfriend Ethan kicked their boyfriend's butt in basketball, LOL. Just kidding girls if you're reading this, haha! I mean, he did win, but it was a little harsh to say he kicked their butts lol We had so much fun though.. giggling, talking about wanting our boobs bigger, LOL Good times, haha!

And thought I'd give a nice picture of my leg for everyone to see, haha. I know you were all dying to know how I was doing. Here's a shot of my leg 10 days after the burn. Looks pretty good if I do say so myself.. now.. it just itches... A LOT.

Project 365: Day 155- May 4th

So, I woke up this morning with high hopes that this day would be a good day filled with working appliances, running cars, etc. Monday was a bit crazy, so my fingers were crossed that Tuesday was a little more peaceful. Wellllll, that wish did not come true, haha! I woke up to a non-working laptop. Lovely. Here McAfee had a virus upgrade a little while ago that sent tons of computers crashing-- yep, mine was one of them. So, I spent all day Tuesday trying to find someone to fix it. Well, it can't be fixed until the weekend, so my lovely mom let me borrow her laptop until Ethan's laptop is delivered later this week. God love her. I have so much school work that needs done! Hopefully my laptop CAN get fixed soon!

Once I got that taken care of... and I let BOTH of my parents see my burn, haha! I headed home. My parents seemed to be a bit worried about my leg.. and the fact that I'm no longer home for them to take care of it, lol. But I assured them Ethan has been a great doctor hehe! Last night,Ethan and I decided to start the "Love Dare" tomorrow. I am so excited to begin this journey with him. We've been talking a lot about finding a church we both like, drawing closer to God together, and I think this book will be one of the things that helps. I am so excited! I'll of course bring you along this journey with us!

And then I watched American Idol! Can I just say that I do believe Lee Dewyze will be the one to take home the gold in this competition? He did amazing last night! They certainly saved the best for last! Big Mike did great too! I'm thinking the bottom 2 will be: Casey and Aaron and I do believe that Casey WILL be the one to go home. He just can't be versatile. Crystal did alright, but I think she'll still stay in the competition. I'll forever be Team Lee though :)

Project 365: Day 154- May 3rd

And our morning started off as usual: I got up about 5:15 and made Ethan breakfast, he ate, got ready, and left for work. I laid back down to get a few more hours of sleep LOL but I was awakened at about 7AM to Ethan saying "I broke down... car overheated." Poor fella was about 50 miles from home or so :( I felt so bad for him. So while doing laundry, my morning (from about 7AM to 10AM) was spent on the phone with him.. on again, off again.. until he got home. He finally called me at about 10:15AM... 10 jugs of water later.. and asked me to come get him. He was only about 5 minutes from the apartment bless his heart. And so, he spent the next couple of hours getting his car prepped to get worked on.

And after he got done with that, we headed over to my FAVORITE place in the village we live hehe! I got my usual: hamburger with bacon, lettuce, and onion... spicy curly fries... and mustard. Mmm! Quite the piggy, huh? haha!

Then, Ethan asked me if I wanted to go on a ride on his street bike. I said yes because he said he wanted to take me to see a BEAUTIFUL view. I was so excited! It took us about 10 minutes to get there and boy, was it worth it :) This picture doesn't even do it justice. Gorgoeus view of God's amazing creation. Literally took my breath away.

And after we got back, I went to get off the street bike and due to the engine being loud I didn't hear Ethan trying to instruct me on HOW to get off the bike. So, I just put my legs down.. and yep, you guessed it! I BURNED that sucker. It's bad. It hurts. It's nasty. It leaks, LOL I am not pleased! haha! Just not how I pictured my evening going LOL but Ethan, being the good doctor that he is, bandaged me up with some neosporin, got me laid down, got us some snacks, turned on a scary movie, and cuddled with me :) It was wonderful! We even went on a walk later... with a piggy back ride included hehe!

Then we went down to the basketball courts and Ethan played some ball with his friends and I, of course, watched and did some homework. It was a gorgeous day to just relax and enjoy the scenery :)

And the night ended with us going to Auto Zone to get stuff for Ethan's car, him treating me to Burger King for the ROUGH day I had LOL, and spending time at his mom's. And this is me. Happy. It's taken me awhile to get here, but I'm here and LOVING it. I thank God every day for the peace and happiness He gives.
