Project 365: Day 103- March 13th

I close my eyes, thinking that there is nothing like an embrace after an absence, nothing like fitting my face into the curve of his shoulder and filling my lungs with the scent of him.

So, I let Ethan open his birthday present early. I know, I’m a total sucker, haha! But I was so excited and I’m TERRIBLE with surprises, baha! So I took it to him and let him open it.. and he loved it! I am so happy! I sometimes think I love buying people presents more than getting presents lol! I just love seeing their reactions! One of my favorite things!

Yea, I love waking up next to this man, hehe! I had to wake up kinda early because I had a busy day today, soo here’s a cute lil picture of Eth still snoozing.. and me snapping pics, per usual :)

Then it was off to Chloe Rose's 4th birthday party!

She turns 4 on March 16^th, so we had a Thomas the Train party to celebrate that! And of course, two of my favorite people EVER were there, haha! My sister and my cousin… and we had a grand ol’ time.

And then, since my dad’s birthday was yesterday, we took him to Columbus for dinner and to a Columbus Blue Jackets game tonight! It was a surprise.. and lemme tell ya! He was surprised, haha! His reaction was priceless when he saw the tickets.. and he even got a little choked up, which made me choked up, hehe! Here’s a few pictures from the game:

Project 365: Day 102- March 12th

“People always say that, when you love someone, nothing in the world matters. But that’s not true, is it? You know, and I know, that when you love someone, everything in the world matters a little bit more.”

So, it's the boyfriend's birthday in a few weeks and I had this idea that I was going to buy him an Ipod or a Zune because, well, I get sick of burning CDs for him when he gets tired of the one he has, haha! So, thanks to a good friend Abi, she helped me out, and we got the hook up for Eth. A 32GB Zune, car charger, wall charger, USB cord, and 2 covers for an absolutely amazing price! So, of course, I jumped on that deal. Last night I uploaded the Zune software, got TONS of music, and picked up the Zune today, haha! I am SO excited to give it to him. He already knows he's getting it, but oh well! We got about 1700 songs on it, some playlists, his motorcycle as the background... he is set to go! I can't wait to give it to him when he gets home from work! :)

And some great people that I know are selling peanut butter eggs, so I picked up 2 of those for Ethan and I today. Can't wait to eat it! Yum!

And TODAY WAS A FLIP FLOP day! Do you know how excited I was? LOL Everyone told me I looked so comfy! I had on an old school Old Navy cotton skirt, tank top, and some flip flops wifffff my hobo bag, haha! Beach bum, anyone? lol :)

And the day ended with Ethan! He got to open his birthday present early cause he's spoiled, haha! So there are my bags :)

Project 365: Day 101- March 11th

Jennifer Aniston said "I always say don't make plans, make options.." and I have found that to be very true in my life. I had plans to wake up early, get ready, pick up lunch, and surprise Ethan this morning. But guess what? I wake up and go to get a shower.. and we have no water! Craziness, I tell you! And I was NOT leaving this house without a shower, that is for sure, haha! I looked a wreck.. sooo, about 5 hours later, the water finally comes back on.. and it's too late to follow through with my plans. Dangit. I was so excited too, but you know what they say... everything happens for a reason :)

So, instead of spending the day with Ethan, I gathered my research books, notecards, highlighters, pens, and laptop.. got the porch swing set up... and sat outside and worked on my Literature Review. It was soooo relaxing and such a great day to get some work done. I just LOVE it. I missed being with my boy, but it was definitely a good homework-catchup day.


And then, we got Subway for dinner.. I tried the BMT. And... did not enjoy it at all, lol! I was starving so I chowed down, but I won't get it again, lol! I know, I'm weird, I'm weird. It's ssooo american, but whatever, haha! I'm just not a fan, but the BBQ Baked Lays and sweet tea definitely hit the spot :)


And I finished the night with some American Idol! Voted off tonight was: Todrick, Katelyn, Lilly, and Alex. Loved Alex. Bless his heart, he broke my heart. And I was shocked Lilly left and Katie stayed.

Project 365: Day 100- March 10th

You want to know what happiness is? It's waking up in the middle of the night for no reason, shifting under the blankets, and feeling the heat of the person next to you. You turn around and see them in their most peaceful, innocent and vulnerable state. They breathe as though the weight of the world lays on anyones shoulders but their own. You smile, and kiss their face in the most gentle manner so as not to wake them. You turn back around and an involuntary grin forms on your face. You feel an arm wrap around your waist, and you know it doesn't get any better than this.

I got to wake up next to this gentle giant this morning hehe :) I LOVE these kind of mornings. He didn't have to work, so it was just lots of talking and cuddling which is something we rarely get to do with him having to go to bed so early and get up so early. It was amazing. I'm a total creeper and sometimes just enjoy watching him sleep, haha. He's just adorable. My best friend. I couldn't imagine life without him in it.

Then, I cooked dinner tonight! We had a Mexican feast! Taco salad, nachos, burritos.. salsa, ranch dressing.. lettuce, cheese, onions.. beef, beans.. mmm, you name it! And it was scrumptious! (If I'm allowed to say so myself, haha!) I LOVE cooking and having dinner ready when the family gets home, so this was an amazing feeling. I hear once I run my own household it won't be the same, but I can't help but think I won't be able to shake that feeling I get seeing people enjoy something I made for them :)

And I spent my evening twittering and watching American Idol, haha! I LOVE it. Who do I think is going home tomorrow? Well, it doesn't really matter cause it's never anyone I think, baha, but I'll still say.. I think it's going to be Aaron Kelly and Andrew Garcia (oh- and hopefully Lacey Brown and Lilly Scott) We'll see how it plays out tomorrow.

Project 365: Day 99- March 9th

Thank you grandma for the new sweater and hat! She bought this for me for my birthday and I just LOVE it! It's totally something I would wear, haha! I LOVE it and thank you Grandpa for dropping it off!

And for breakfast this morning? Oh... a bottle of coke and tater tots! Hey, hey, hey... I was thinking... it's like coffee and hashbrowns! haha! It was yummy!


Then, I decided it was time to redo my nails, so I gave myself a little manicure hehe! :) It's nice to just relax for a few.


And of course... our annual girl's night so we could watch us some Secret Life and American Idol. I just love these girls :) And let me just say I'm totally TEAM CRYSTAL! :D I'm saying she's Top 4.

Project 365: Day 98- March 8th

I decided to wear the cute lil tank top Kourt bought me today! :) I LOVE it. Thank you so much Kourt! It's comfy and cool! Will definitely come in handy when it starts getting really warm out hehe!

Lo and behold, my registration and new tags FINALLY came in for my car! Thank heavens because I wasn't gonna be able to drive it today if they didn't! But they are here.. and on! Not straight, but hey, at least it's there, haha!


And when I got in my car to put the registration in the glove compartment, I realized that my car was an absolute MESS! Chips, like 50 empty water bottles, trash, gunk on my door from spilling pop, blankets, coats.. that poor thing hadn't been cleaned out since probably summer '09? Sheesh! Neglect much? haha! So, I decided since it was a gorgeous day outside, I'd clean out my car... windex it, dust it, and vacuum it! She looks great!

Then I worked on my paper preparing for my research project.. and boy, that was wearing my brain out, haha! So I decided that it was one of these kind of days:

And the rest of the evening was spent eating pizza, watching Rules of Engagement, and Gossip Girl! Good times :D

Project 365: Day 97- March 7th

Glad I had another one this year, hehe! And I woke up this morning to a present from my brother Corey and his girlfriend Marie! They bought me lots of scrapbooking things (because I'm going to start a Project 365 scrapbook soon, yay!) and a $25 giftcard to McDonalds.. because ANYONE that knows me knows I have breakfast there at least 2x a week... if not more, haha! So, that will definitely come in handy! Thank you Corey and Marie!

Then, I worked on some more job applications because yes, I am still most definitely on the hunt, haha! Lets all cross our fingers, legs, and say our prayers that someone will call me back! :)

Then, my mom and I went to the funeral home for the calling hours of my Grandpa Smith's sister. It was his last sibling so it was a moment grandpa really needed us. We spent some time there with the family, then we headed to Family Video to rent some movies, to Tim Horton's to get some grub (and drinks), and went through the car wash!

(And our Tim Hortons! Mom got: a cappuccino and a fruit explosion muffin; I got: a sweet tea and a yummy chicken salad sandwich on wheat-- toasted. My favorite)

When we finally got home, my mom asked me how my project went from my class and what my grade was and I forgot that I hadn't even looked, so I jumped online and checked it out.. and I was expecting the worst because I felt like I repeated a lot of the same stuff throughout the power point, but here's what my Professor said :)


Thank God! I was so nervous hehe! :)

Then to complete my birthday weekend, Helen and Kourt came over for a movie! We ended up watching Couples Retreat and it was SO hilarious! So, we enjoyed the movie... ate some KFC/Burger King... and I got to open some presents!

Project 365: Day 96- March 6th

I woke up today.. and I was 23 :) Yep, you guessed it! It's my birthday! Feels like just yesterday I was 22... *sigh* haha! First of all, I just have to say how thankful I am to God that He gave me one more year of this gift of life. I don't ever want to take it for granted. I want to cherish every moment, every second. I want my family to always know how much I love them, I want my friends to always know that they are amazing people, I want my boyfriend to know every day that regardless of what happens, I'll always love him. Life is too short not to live it to the fullest. I am so thankful to see another year!

After waking up at Ethan's, I got dressed... and went shopping! Kohls was calling our name! Ethan gave me money for my birthday, so mom and I headed on over to some clearance sales. I got this cute shirt and a purse! I LOVE the purse! It is the kind that goes around your chest... it's a hobo bag. Adorable, hehe! I just adore it! Thanks for the money babe! It paid off hehe :)

Then, my mom, Brad, and I all went to McDonalds for lunch because yes, I was CRAVING a Big Mac, haha! It was soooo good! Mmm, I kind of want another one today, haha! Big Mac, large fry, barbeque sauce, and a sweet tea! Yummy! Here's us modeling our sweet teas, haha! Then, I came home and web-cammed with my Beef, Emily! It's her birthday tomorrow (March 7th) and her gift finally arrived! :) So here's a shot of us webcamming, haha!

And here's a picture of her bracelet I got her. It has a "B" on it because we call each other BEEF, haha! And it has "2008" cause that's the year we "met" hehe! :) Happy Birthday tomorrow Em!


Then, Kourt, Mom, Ethan, and I all went to Muddy Misers for some dinner (cause it's my fave haha!) and headed to the mall. Kourt and I of course had to try on the glasses at Claires! :) We rawked them, haha! :P

And then we all went to watch Valentine's Day! Got me a large Sprite (that Ethan drank most of, haha) and Ethan got 2 big bags of popcorn. The night included: laughing hysterically, freaking out when Bradley Cooper turned out to be gay in the movie, getting shushed by people for us freaking out when Bradley Cooper turned out to be gay, Ethan freaking out at people shushing us for freaking out when Bradley Cooper turned out to be gay, Mom freaking out that Jennifer Garner wasn't kissing Ashton Kutcher appropriately, checking on Kourtney periodically cause ya know- she's preggo lol, Mom dropping her cell phone and breaking it, Ethan freaking out on the people standing in the aisle talking, and journeying half way down the parking lot before realized we parked in front of the movie theater, haha! I love these people, lol!


After the movies, I got a phone call from my loverrr (Jess) haha and she asked me to be her bridesmaid in her wedding! So in August, I'll be journeying down to Tennessee for that! I am so excited! I love you loverrr!

Then, Ethan spent the night and we watched "When a Stranger Calls".. which freaked me out to the point where I couldn't sleep, haha!

All in all, it was an AMAZING birthday! One of the best ones I've had in a long time! Thanks for the all the birthday wishes and for everyone who helped make it a great day! :)
