Project 365: Day 402- January 6th

So, I might have a BIT of an obsession with buying clothes for Tayler. Can you blame me? haha! She's too cute already and little girls clothes are way too adorable to resist them. PLUS, Old Navy had a killer sale-- I HAD to :) This is the little shirt she got... and here are the leggings that match:

How cute, right? And OF COURSE, I got her a onesie too. Mom, don't shoot me. [I was told to stop buying things, hahahahaha]

And guess what we got in the mail today? A card from my grandma congratulating us on our marriage! How sweet, right? She is so cute, hehe!

And I got my hands dirty today... okay, or maybe clean? haha and cleaned out the fridge. We've been renting one from Aarons and we are ready to put our new fridge in.... which requires cleaning and throwing away gunk, haha!

Oh yes, it looks SO much better now! :)

And then Makala came over! We watched "Ghost Whisperer" and went to Subway. And when we came home-- she hooked up her Xbox and we played some "Call of Duty." I did terrible, but they let me wear a cool headset, haha!

Then Ethan got to be cool and wear it, haha

We had a fun night :)

Project 365: Day 387- December 22nd

Today was a CHRISTMAS kind of day :) I spent the day finishing up wrapping a few items :) We purchased this for Ethan's momma. It says "Grandma" on it and it has a precious little poem that says:

When I heard you were on the way,
I smiled and wiped a tear away.
I cried the tear because I knew,
My heart has held a place for you.

And we slipped a picture of her ultrasound in there too :) I really hope she likes it-- I think she will!
We worked on something for my parents as well, but I am not posting it on here because they may read this, haha! But I also got another one of Tayler's ultrasounds printed off and we put that in the frame that is in her bedroom. We wanted to at least have one picture of her in there, hehe :)

And I got myself something nice--- a belly band :) It's SO nice. It makes it to where I can wear my regular jeans AND it supports my tummy! I literally NEVER want to take it off, haha!

I LOVE it! :)

And I got the exciting privilege to go shopping with my momma last night! Ethan, my dad, and my brothers played ball together down by our house, so I met my mom at Walmart (WHAT A NIGHTMARE, hahaha!) and got some baking supplies for the cupcakes I'm making on Christmas Eve, some new bras (shhhh! hahaha), and another present for Ethan :)

Project 365: Day 355- November 20th

So, hmmm... my morning started off a bit rough, haha! I woke up and ate the leftovers from the previous night (BAD IDEA) and drank some Orange Juice. Then, Ethan asked me to run some errands with him... well, as soon as the car took off, apparently that upset my tummy a bit and I started throwing up... everywhere. Finally, I got out of the car... did my thing... and got back in. Ethan checked on me, I told him it just hit me all of the sudden, and we proceeded. Well, I had brought some OJ with me for our trips around town and guess what happened after that? Yep, spilled it all over my pants. I was a mess after that. Rough start. So, I came home and changed my clothes and relaxed for a bit with 2 pieces of wheat toast. Finally, my mom texted me and I headed to Walmart to meet her. I love grocery shopping or just plain ol' shopping with my mom :) First stop of course was CHRISTMAS stuff! I got some more things for our Christmas tree:

I cannot wait to start decorating! :) And I picked up some candles to put around the house (about 10) for Christmas! They are: Pine, Cinnamon, Spiced Apple, and Vanilla Cookie. MMMM!

And then it was time to go grocery shopping! I'm really excited to cook this week. I have a few new recipes I am going to try, so we'll see how it all goes, hehe :) Here's our full fridge! I LOVE SNACKS!

And guess what my gorgeous mom did for me? She bought me 3 new shirts (since I am smuggling a basketball these days hahaha) Here's the blue shirt she bought me:

I'd say I've kind of popped. What about you? haha! And here are the 2 other shirts she bought me:

I can't wait to wear these! :) THANK YOU SO MUCH MOM!!

After our shopping trip, I headed home and Ethan and I cuddled up on the couch and watched the Ohio State vs. Iowa game. What a game! I really thought the Hawkeyes were taking us down, but Ohio State overcame thanks to an amazing run by Terrell Pryor and Sanzenbacher saving our day with that touchdown! Posey could have alleviated that stress a lot earlier had he actually caught that pass, haha, but oh well-- it made for quite the game. Ethan and I were screaming at the TV and God love Tayler, she was bouncing around like crazy! She knew something was going on out there, haha! But we had a victory nonetheless- 20 to 17 :)

And after the Ohio State game, it was "The Office" time, haha! Yes, Ethan and I BOTH are addicted now! We're almost done with Season 3 :) We love it!

Project 365: Day 354- November 19th

I spent the first part of my day creating a grocery list and clipping some coupons :) I have a wonderful momma who gets me TONS of coupons hehe so, I wrote up our grocery list, then figured out how to save some monnnnnn-ayyy! :) We have a huge grocery list this week because I REFUSE to go grocery shopping next week (I typically go on Fridays or Saturdays.. and uhhh, it's Black Friday weekend next week. No thanks, I'm good haha!) So, we're going to have about 2 weeks of groceries this week.. should be interesting. However, I'm totally stoked for our meals these upcoming weeks. I'm trying out some new recipes. I'm making steak fajitas, nacho cheese chowder soup, red potatoes and green beans, and a buffalo chicken dip. Yummy, huh? We shall see :)

After working on our grocery list, I started my CHRISTMAS SHOPPING!!! Oh I am totally serious. I wish I could sit here and go on and on about what we bought today for our families, but unfortunately, (okay not unfortunately, I'm glad they read this blog haha) they read this blog. So, that will have to remain a mystery until AFTER Christmas. Then we'll go into what we purchased, but can I just say this--- I AM ABSOLUTELY STOKED. Let me tell you---- giving is SOOO much better than getting! I love seeing faces light up when they see their presents. Ethan and I have tried to put a lot of heart into our gifts this year and make them personal. We are really excited! I have 13 people to buy for this year and I bought for 9 of them today. How cool is that? Oh, I am sooo excited! Next Friday, we finally get to put our tree up! Then the wrapping will REALLY begin :)

Oh, and I just have to document what I got in the mail today, haha! About a week ago or so, I had a complete crying meltdown because I couldn't get the salsa jar opened while Ethan was at work. LOL Like literally bawling my eyes out with frustration, haha! So, I go to the mailbox today and I see a package in there from my friend Kat. And here is what was inside:

She even went as far as writing "No more meltdowns" on the package, haha! She's hilariously funny! Thanks again Kat! :)

And while doing all of this today, I watched "The Office: Season 3." Okay, so you could say it's a SLIGHT addiction now, haha! Either way, I laugh all day long and that my friends, is beautiful :)

Around 6:00PM, Ethan FINALLY came home! :) So, we went and grabbed some food. I got the Chipotle Chicken Wrap and Seasoned Fries from the Depot and they were SOOOO yummy!

Yeah, look at that scrumptiousness, haha :) and while eating we watched "The Timeline." Honestly, you'd think with a cast featuring Gerard Butler and Paul Walker, it'd be a good movie, but it just didn't hold my interest. Maybe it had to do with being set in the 14th century? LOL I don't know, but either way, I kept dozing off in the middle of it (alright, so that isn't too surprising... I know haha)

Cheers to Project 365!

August 13th Journal Prompt: Anger.

The journal prompt of the day is: How do you deal with your anger? I bottle a lot of my emotions up inside. If I feel anger- it may show on...
