Project 365: Day 341- November 6th

Woke up this morning to: BREAKFAST IN BED. Oh yes indeed. My sweet, sweet boyfriend brought me breakfast in bed. I still get really nauseous in the AM if I don't eat something quickly... and being the kind-hearted man that he is, before he left to go fishing, he made me something and brought it back to me along with a big bottle of 7-Up. Absolutely love him :)

Then he left to go fishing and shopping for new hunting gear and I got dressed and met my mom and Grandma in town to do some shopping at Kohls and Hobby Lobby. I got 2 new maternity shirts today:

How cute are those? Yes! I am in love hehe! Grandma got some new shoes at Kohls... as did my mother.. and then we were off to Hobby Lobby. I needed to pick up more circles to paint for my sweet Tayler's bedroom. Unfortunately, they only had 5 smaller circles left, so I had to purchase bigger circles... we'll see what we can do with this :)

Then we headed over to Sojourners Subs for lunch. It's a new restaurant in town that sells subs (with homemade bread), soups, and salads. Grandma really wanted to try it so we thought... heck, why not! I got the Philly Steak sub with green peppers and onions.. and extra mayo. Momma don't like her subs dry, LOL. We even had two visitors-- Ethan came with his buddy TJ. Ethan hasn't met my grandma yet, so they came for lunch and for a little meet and greet :) Here's a shot of my mom, Grandma, and me out front of the store: (compliments to Ethan for this picture)

After that, TJ and Ethan went to look at more hunting gear and I said farewell to my mom and Grandma and headed home :) Guess what came in the mail today????

Tayler's new onesie :) Ethan is in love with it haha!

Ethan finally got home from hunting and we headed over to see Brad for his birthday. And then my parents and Corey came over to see our new place. (Well, Corey-- he hadn't seen it yet) And they brought BURGER KING!!! Oh yes, you know I LOVE LOVE that! :) They brought me chicken tenders, fries, ranch dressing, and a Sprite. Yummy! :) We had such a good time hanging out hehe!

Funny story here.... Corey said he was going to buy it for us haha! So, mom and dad were like sure! They went to Burger King, ordered, and Corey said, "Oops, I forgot my wallet!" BAHAHAH. Classic Corey move. So, mom and dad ended up paying for it LOL!!

And Ethan decided to model, haha:

Project 365: Day 293- September 19th

We woke up this morning at lovely, beautiful Lake Seneca :) We ate some hamburgers, got ready, and set sail on Jon's boat to go fishing. I wasn't really motivated to fish, haha, so I laid out on the boat, while Arena, Jon, and Ethan fished. Ethan got a couple fish, as did Arena and bless Jon's heart, he didn't catch a thing, haha. Here's Arena and Jon fishing:

It got to be tooooooo hot, so Jon took Ethan and I back while he and Arena went for a little cruise, haha. Ethan and I packed up our bags and got ready to head home-- we were beat! Here's Ethan in the dining room area of the cabin, with all of our bags-- he's weird, haha!

And after one stop at the gas station to get snacks, we were off. Ethan told me I looked like SUCH a mom in my outfit and my hair-do LOL

He's too funny haha!

After an hour trip, we were finally home! We cleaned up the house and we visited with Ethan's sister for awhile. She wanted to see my baby bump haha! And she brought a onesie with her that Carol (Grandma Carol) bought for Baby B :)

How cute, right? hehe! And then once Susan and Brian left, Ethan and I went and grabbed some Subway, borrowed "Monster House" from Ethan's mom, and came home, cuddled up, and watched it :)

And then we went to bed! It was a long weekend and we both were worn out... so at 930, we were tucked in bed and out like a light, haha!

Project 365: Day 257- August 14th

Ethan and I started out the morning making a trip to Lowes and Auto Zone. Then we headed home and watched Little Giants and Sky High. We're still kids at heart, k? haha :) Then we got ready and went to MOPAR 2010! Here are some shots of that:

[The whole crew: Ethan, me, Dad, Mom, Linds, Evan, Mikey, Corey, and Brad]

[old cars and burn outs. that's what it's all about hehe!]

[and we celebrated Corey's 21st birthday at Tumbleweed and with a cookie cake made my mom]

We had SO much fun! :)

also, we got some things for the baby! Mom bought the baby's first onesie:

[I heard this is going to be all too true, haha]

And Lindsey and Mikey bought us a card! it was so sweet!

And thought I'd show my lil' pouch I got goin' on for Baby B haha :)

It was a GREAT day! We were sooo tired when we got home, but we had a blast!

And journal challenge 4 for the day was:

What does your heart look like? It can be literal, it can be symbolic..

This is a symbolic representation of my heart (and yes, i love markers, haha)
To me, the heart is a plethora of emotions. Our heart is how we feel, how we think. It is our very heartbeat (not only literally, but metaphorically)
The black swirl leading down to the black x represents my confusion, pain, and hurt. As much as I try and let these things go, they have still scarred my heart. I pray that one day, they will no longer be present, but only time will tell....
The blue "river" represents a "river of emotions." I'm a very emotional person. Even when I was not pregnant, I was still emotional. I have a soft heart. My feelings get hurt easily, although I probably won't tell you that. I go from happy to sad to mad to glad to excited to anxious in the span of an hour. I truly wear my heart on my sleeve.
The black "snake" next to the river represents fear and how it often attempts to creep back in to my life although I've ordered it to leave me alone, time and time again.
The purple arrows pointing up represent my thankfulness. In my heart, I know I am blessed. The arrows symbolize me sending my thankfulness back to God for all He has done for me. My life hasn't been perfect, but it sure has been blessed!
The green circles go from big to small. They represent the peace I feel in my heart on any given day. Some days, I feel a greater amount of peace than others. Other days, I'm struggling to find a stable foundation to walk on.
The yellow above the black represents my happiness. With everything that I once struggled with, I'm still a very happy person! I know I have a reason to be. And life is too short not to be.
And all of this is encompassed by pink: Love and Compassion. It is the driving force of my life. I have so much love and compassion for the world. I want to help the hurting, make a way of escape for those that feel they have no hope. I live by the motto: You must be the change you wish to see in the world. *sigh* I want to change the world....
And today while working on this journal entry, I listened to "Down" by Jason Walker.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VvGYYg40Ijw
"I don’t know where I’m at
I’m standing at the back
And I’m tired of waiting
Waiting here in line, hoping that I’ll find what I’ve been chasing."
Cheers to Project 365!

August 13th Journal Prompt: Anger.

The journal prompt of the day is: How do you deal with your anger? I bottle a lot of my emotions up inside. If I feel anger- it may show on...
