Project 366: Day 59 [April 15th]

Good morning bloggers! I know I am super behind right now! I just can't seem to keep up with my Project 366 this week, but I am going to get caught up right now and then hopefully I can stay ahead of the game the rest of the week! :)

Tayler spent the night with my parents Saturday night, so we got up Sunday morning to meet them at Cracker Barrel for breakfast! :) We were also meeting up with my brother and his fiance. Back in March, we all met up for the March birthdays, so we met up today for Ethan's birthday which was April 10th. My mom joked that we celebrated his birthday for days.. and we did, haha!

The food was delicious! I had sausage gravy and biscuits and it was amazing! And oh my word, Tayler looked stinking adorable. Here's an ornery picture of her:

She was mad because I kept telling her that she couldn't keep walking (the parking lot was right there LOL) And that's the face I got.. hilarious!

It was GORGEOUS outside, so we decided to take some pictures of the family. Hopefully you all enjoy them!

The first picture is my mom, dad, and Tayler! :) They are amazing grandparents and I am so grateful that they are in my life! The second photo is finally a decent family picture of us! :) We haven't had one in awhile! The third picture is my brother, his fiance (they are getting married November 1oth!) and Tayler. They are a wonderful aunt and uncle for her :) and the last one, of course, is Tayler posing by the flowers! Gorgeous girl!

After that, we went home and relaxed and then we were off to the softball field. Ethan had a game at 6:00PM. When we first got out there, my dad's team was finishing up.. and Tayler immediately fell asleep. She wasn't feeling good at all, poor thing :(

Poor thing :( She was getting a TERRIBLE cold. Her nose was running, she was coughing.. it broke my heart :( All she wanted to do was cuddle and I was fine with that!

But she eventually woke up and we went down to where Ethan was going to playing. She walked around and played with Pap and Gigi for a little while :)

Doesn't she look cute? Her little shirt says our last name on the back and has her Daddy's # on it :) So precious! But, she soon became even sicker :( She was coughing so hard I thought she was going to vomit. It was breaking my heart. All she wanted to do was cry. So, we ended up leaving early. I felt so bad for the little baby :(

Once we got home, I realized I'd forgotten all about the April Photo Challenge, so I don't have a really good shot of the task for today, but at least I have something, right?

The task for today was: SUNSET.

That's as good as shot as I could get with a sick baby on the couch and taking a picture from front yard, haha! :)

Hope you all had a fabulous day! We spent the rest of the evening cuddled up with our sweet Tayler and catching up on all of our TV shows!

Cheers to Project 366!

Project 366: Day 38 [March 25th]

We woke up this morning, I sent Natalie off with Brittany, and we all started getting ready. Our friends TJ and Lakin asked us if we wanted to go to breakfast with them this morning and OF COURSE we jumped on that, haha! Ethan has been dying to show me this breakfast they have there that he used to eat all of the time when he was in high school-- The Barnyard Buster. It comes with two biscuits, two eggs, country fries, all covered with sausage gravy. Yum, right? :)

I ended up getting the 'Down Yonder Breakfast' so Tayler could split it with me. It comes with one sausage, one bacon, one egg, one pancake, and one french toast. She ate almost the entire french toast. Piggy, haha! But before eating..

And after eating....

She was a really big grump LOL She was 'crying' (I'll call it crying, but it was super fake, haha!) The entire time. I let her walk around towards the back since there was hardly anyone back there and everyone that was sitting back there kept saying, "Would you look at how adorable she is??" I told them she's that much more adorable when she's not throwing a temper tantrum, haha! She just woke up entirely too early and was already ready for a nap! She fell asleep soon after we got home.

But here she is prior to that:

I posted a picture of the back of the outfit on Facebook, but Mom and a friend of mine said, 'HELLOOOOO. We would like to see the front!!' LOL So I posted this one as well. I thought that bow just went sooo well with. She kept pulling it off of her head as she does with all bows now, but it still looked adorable ;)

She eventually crashed on me. I laid down and put her head on my chest. She laid there for awhile and watched 'Yo Gabba Gabba' but her breathing soon quieted and I could tell she had fallen asleep and guess what? I did the same. I don't even remember falling asleep, but I must have really needed it, haha!

BUT GUESS WHAT HAPPENED WHEN I WOKE UP???

I woke up to these lovely books at my feet. Yes, I have a wonderful husband. I'd been talking about these and that I really wanted to read them. I read a few pieces of it on my Nook, but hadn't purchased them yet. Well, he wanted to surprise me, so he brought them home from Walmart for me. Good man, I tell ya :) I can't wait to start reading them!!

Then we watched 'Awake.' I've been dying to see this since Thursday night and I'm glad we finally got the opportunity to today!

Are any of you readers out there following along with this? Such a good TV show! It is so confusing though, but I think that's why I like it so much! You never know what is 'real.' It's so mind-boggling and the shrinks on the show make it just as odd. What are your thoughts?

After that, we got ready to go Ethan's softball game. It was his first game of the season :) And we were all excited I think! We are such a family. We all got shirts that match too! :) Here's Tayler and Daddy waiting for Daddy's game to start:

She hates the flash hence the eyes being closed, hehe! My mom bought her that bow. Isn't it adorable? :) She's just too cute! Her Papaw and Gigi came to watch Daddy's game too! I think they just wanted to spend time with her ;)

But guess what? I was walking with Tayler on the gravel and let go of her hand for a second (bad Mom moment :() and guess what happened?

See that scrap by her nose? :( Poor baby. She fell and went face first on to the ground. Bless her heart! She screamed SO bad. I felt like the worst mother in the world! I took this picture after bath time. She seems to be doing alright with it-- I'm doing worse! LOL I know she's just a kid and she's going to get more of those, but ugh-- I still felt terrible!

Here's a shot of the team playing:

They did so good for their first game EVER. I'm so proud to be a part of it :) My husband did wonderful. BUT it was FREEZING, darn it. What's with this weather? 80 degrees one day... 40 degrees the next. Whatever, haha! I can't keep up.

Once we got home and everyone got their baths, we turned on our lovely show 'Once Upon a Time!' :)

Do any of you watch that?

I LOVE IT.

And last night's episode definitely delivered. However, I thought the Mad Hatter was the one that gave Mary Margaret the key... not Regina. That was a confusing part. However, I am really excited to see the next episode and see how Regina and Snow White's relationship became how it is.

And now for our prayer this week:

Pray that your husband will be a man of prayer. Pray that he will seek and pursue God in purposeful quiet times. (1 Thess. 5:17; Luke 22:46; James 5:16)

And the scriptures that go along with it are as follows:

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (The Message) Be cheerful no matter what; pray all the time; thank God no matter what happens. This is the way God wants you who belong to Christ Jesus to live.

Luke 22:45-46 (The Message) He got up from prayer, went back to the disciples and found them asleep, drugged by grief. He said, "What business do you have sleeping? Get up. Pray so you won't give in to temptation."

James 5:16-18 (The Message)  Make this your common practice: Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you can live together whole and healed. The prayer of a person living right with God is something powerful to be reckoned with. Elijah, for instance, human just like us, prayed hard that it wouldn't rain, and it didn't—not a drop for three and a half years. Then he prayed that it would rain, and it did. The showers came and everything started growing again.

Dear Jesus, Please help my husband and this entire household to become a family of prayer. Let us remember that that is how we reach Heaven's gates. Help Ethan and the rest of us to seek You! That's who we want. That's who we need in our lives. Let us have our quiet moments together. I know that prayer will unite us and that's what I desire. We love You so much! Thank You for everything! In Your Name, Amen!

God bless you all

and cheers to Project 366!

Project 366: Day 28 [March 15th]

Today, our sweet Tayler turned 50 weeks old. Yes, we keep track, haha! 2 more weeks until she turns 1! YAY! I am so excited you have no idea. We have been working to get things together for her party the past few weeks and I think it's really coming together! I just cannot wait to share pictures with everyone :) But anyways-- here's a shot of our 50 week old :)

Isn't she the cutest? She had another little pony tail on top of her head, haha! I LOVE having a little girl. Anyone else out there agree? :)

And today.. we were working on things for the party again! It doesn't appear Tayler was too excited about it..... ;)

hahaha. This picture seriously cracks me up every single time I look at it! :) What were we working on today you might be wondering? The card box for Tayler's gift table :) I wanted to incorporate DJ Lance Rock's boom box into the party some how, so I figured this would be the perfect way in which to do that!

Not perfect, but I think it works. :) If you aren't familiar with DJ Lance Rock's boom box or 'Yo Gabba Gabba'... here is what it looks like:

Once that was finished, we had a visitor-- Tayler's Gigi! :) And she was in luck yet again today because Tayler was still awake! They had lots of cuddle time and she even brought Tayler some fries. Some sweet Gigi, right? :)

She absolutely adores her Gigi :)

Then Daddy came home and we got Tayler some dinner. She was having pasta shells, cheese, chicken, and veggies. We love those little Gerber Graduate meals, don't you? She thinks she's big stuff when she eats them, haha! I love how messy she gets. I mean, I feel a bit apprehensive, but I enjoy watching her have fun!

Yessss.. I got my new camera out to give it a try. All she was doing was eating, but seriously-- she's cute! Don't you just love that pony tail in her hair? :)

Ethan and Bobby were working on our upstairs  (I'll share pictures once everything is done. You are going to be shocked!) And when Bobby came over, he brought the team jerseys for their softball team. We ordered two shirts for Tayler and me and OMG, they are so cute! They didn't have orange (or pink!) so we had to get Tayler baby blue, but hey-- it still looks adorable!! I blurred out our last name in case you are wondering what that big black box is haha! :)

And we were giggling. Ethan ordered some food and he left his wallet laying on the couch. He came downstairs and saw Tayler and laughed and said, 'You're just like your mother!' hahaha! I know, right? I'm not that way ;)

But she looked adorable doing it. I think she could have gotten anything she wanted after that moment, haha! :)

And then Miss Natalie came over so we  could baby sit :) Her and Tayler had fun playing with Tayler's laptop and other toys. Don't they look cute sitting there?

They were having a blast. Then we had bath time. I got Natalie bathed and ready for bed and E took her downstairs so I could bathe Tayler and get her ready for bed. When I came walking down the stairs, I heard Natalie laughing hysterically. Ethan was waving a pillow and making noises and she was loving it, haha! But when we got downstairs, I think Tayler was jealous ;) So we laid the girls down next to each other and they were both laughing hysterically. It was such a sweet moment!

We had so much fun with the girls tonight :) Finally-- it was our turn to get ready for bed, haha! Then it was AMERICAN IDOL time! :) I was anxious to see Daughtry perform and of course, to see who got eliminated. If you all remember correctly, yesterday I guessed Heejun going home and I was totally wrong! Shannon went home. But I did pick her to be in the bottom 3 girls, so I was a little close, eh? ;) What did you guys think of the results?

And now for the prayer today:

Pray that your husband will have an eternal perspective—living in light of eternity. Pray that he will reject materialism and temporal values and put God first in his life. (Matt. 6:33; Deut. 6:5; Eph. 5:16; Ps. 90:12)

And the Bible verses that go along with this prayer are as follows:

Matthew 6:33 (The Message) If God gives such attention to the appearance of wildflowers—most of which are never even seen—don't you think he'll attend to you, take pride in you, do his best for you? What I'm trying to do here is to get you to relax, to not be so preoccupied with getting, so you can respond to God's giving. People who don't know God and the way he works fuss over these things, but you know both God and how he works. Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. Don't worry about missing out. You'll find all your everyday human concerns will be met.

Deuteronomy 6:5 (The Message) Love God, your God, with your whole heart: love him with all that's in you, love him with all you've got!

Ephesians 5:11-16 (The Message)  Don't waste your time on useless work, mere busywork, the barren pursuits of darkness. Expose these things for the sham they are. It's a scandal when people waste their lives on things they must do in the darkness where no one will see. Rip the cover off those frauds and see how attractive they look in the light of Christ.  Wake up from your sleep, Climb out of your coffins;  Christ will show you the light!
So watch your step. Use your head. Make the most of every chance you get. These are desperate times!

Psalms 90:12-17 (The Message) Oh! Teach us to live well!  Teach us to live wisely and well!
Come back, God—how long do we have to wait?—  and treat your servants with kindness for a change. Surprise us with love at daybreak; then we'll skip and dance all the day long.
Make up for the bad times with some good times; we've seen enough evil to last a lifetime.
Let your servants see what you're best at— the ways you rule and bless your children.
And let the loveliness of our Lord, our God, rest on us, confirming the work that we do.
Oh, yes. Affirm the work that we do!

Dear Jesus, thank You for the sweet man in my life. He is my best friend and the person I feel safe with. I am thankful that You blessed me with him! Help him to have an eternal perspective. Help him to put YOU first in his life! We know that if we put You first, everything else will fall into place! We love You and we trust You! Amen!

And Happy Birthday to Tayler's friend Jaylee!

God bless you all

and cheers to Project 366!
