With the cold and snow comes that dreaded word---- ICE. And for any person (especially PREGNANT women)... that's a nightmare. I'm terrified of falling because I never want Tayler to be hurt or injured. :( And unfortunately, I was trying to do my own thing and stumbled down on the sidewalk in front of our house. Fortunately, I landed on my booty and caught myself with my arms/shoulders... unfortunately, I am terribly sore from the fall :( All I could do was start crying-- not from pain, but from worrying about my sweet baby girl. I came inside and sat here for probably 30 minutes with no movement from her... and FINALLY, I felt a kick. It was so relieving. Everyone told me falling on your booty was "no big deal," but I had to feel her to assure myself. Thank the Lord He kept us both safe.

Project 365: Day 314- October 10th
Happy 10/10/10 :)
Ethan and I woke up this morning, grabbed some breakfast, and started working on some personal tasks. He wanted to learn a new song on his guitar and I needed to catch up on my Project 365 and another project I was working on (more about that later...) After we spent some time a part, we decided to go for a walk on the nature trail together. I've been working on walking 3x a week and Ethan has been helping me with that goal! :) While on the way there, I HAD to take some pictures of the gorgeous trees that are changing colors. Golly, this is my favorite time of year :)
Isn't that just gorgeous? I, of course, had to take another picture, haha! I am in love :)
I can't wait til the trees have all changed! Be ready for those pictures, haha!
After our walk on the trail, we stopped by our new place just so I could get some pictures of the outside. Oh yes, get excited haha! More pictures of the inside will be to come because moving day is steadily approaching!
It's quite amazing that that is OUR trailer! Oh my heavens! It's soooo nice inside! Eek, i can't wait to take some more pictures! hehe!
After that, Ethan headed to one of his friend's weddings (that I have never met lol) so I stayed home and worked on my other Project-- 101 things in 1001 days. I made a list of 101 things I want to accomplish in 1001 days (July 8th, 2013 will be my stopping point.) I am so excited! Here's what this blog looks like:
If you want to check out the list, stop by here or click on the button on my Project 365 home page! :)
Ethan came home from the wedding and his buddy TJ and TJ's girlfriend stopped by. Laken and I chit-chatted about upcoming events in our lives and Ethan and TJ checked out Ethan's new car-- and Ethan found something AMAZING (well, his words were-- "Alyssa, I found something that made this car well worth the money I spent on it!) I was curious to know--- did we strike gold in the trunk? was there a million dollars hidden underneath of the jack? Nope...
LASER TAG GUNS-- the kind you played with when you were a kid, haha! They were running around the living room shooting one another-- *sigh* They're special LOL
And since I worked really hard on my 101/1001 list... I decided to start working on one of them. What might that be? DRIVING STICK SHIFT. And Ethan was going to teach me. haha! I knew this was going to be quite the experience and I was really really nervous, but I jumped in the drivers seat and took off (well, the 2nd time I tried. The first time I stalled the engine. Ooops!) Here's a picture of me driving. This is after I made his car have like 45 convulsions because I didn't press the gas at the right time haha!
Yes, I was laughing. Ethan was cracking up and just kept saying "Gosh, I love you..." hahaha! It was a good test run and I think I just might be getting the hang of it lol! My goal is to be able to just jump in the car and go. We'll see how this goes. Here's my after our first lesson:
Oh, it was a good day! We finished it off by cuddling up and watching "Notorious"-- Ethan's choice, haha!
Cheers to Project 365!

Project 365: Day 307- October 3rd
I spent a little bit of time outside yesterday just thinking... enjoying the gorgeous day. Some wouldn't call a high of 48 and rain gorgeous, but let me tell you--- this is my kind of weather! I LOVED having a sweater on, dark jeans, boots, my jacket with my furry hat, and my gloves! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this time of year! And since I was absolutely freezing out there.... I made some grilled cheese and tomato soup once I got inside. Yummy! It was the perfect day for it!
And after enjoying this, I went and got a shower, put on some pajamas, and cuddled up in my bed to work on this very blog. I wanted a change... something different.. something a little more organized.. a little more me. And this is what I came up with-- what do y'all think? Do you like the new look?
And after working on this and feeling completely exhausted from the weekend, cuddled up, and watched "The Disappeared." It was a pretty creepy movie actually. It's a British movie so you had to really listen to what they were saying-- and it was a mind bender. You had to really focus and at times, you got frustrated because the movie kept dragging on and you still had no idea who was who, etc. Thank God for Netflix! :) I get to experience all of these diverse types of movies hehe!

Project 365: Day 301- September 27th
Oh, most of this lovely Fall day was spent working on my project that I unfortunately procrastinated on, haha! I was like "Oh, this project is nothin! I can do it all in one day...." and 5 hours later, I was pulling my hair out because I was STILL working on it. It was about the 8 Multimedia Rules in e-Learning. Interesting, huh? hehe! :) Well, the good news is--- after a couple slices of pizza, tomato soup, and a bag of barbeque chips... it's done and I'm officially on break for 2 weeks! (Which, sounds amazing, but I'm a little frustrated about... want to hear why?)
So, I looked at my classes today and it says that I'm not due to start my next class til October 12th. I'm not really sure why I have a 2 week break, but I do now. My original completion date for graduate school was March 28th, 2011--- PERFECT considering I'm due April 7th, 2011. Well, with this 2 week break being issued, my completion date is now April 11th, 2011... not so perfect and rather frustrating. So, for my final class (my MAED capstone class) I'm going to have to do all my work (for a 6week class) in the first 3 weeks. Wish me luck, haha!
After all of this, Ethan arrived home, we went and got his exhaust pipe fixed, and well-- we were going to make tomato soup and grilled cheese, but unfortunately, my blood sugar was dropping-- quick! For some reason that's started happening a lot since being pregnant, so we stopped at McDonalds and yes, I downed all 1,000 calories of a Big Mac and large fry and I was not ashamed of it haha! :)
It was FINALLY fall... ALL day today! Cool and rainy! Here's what the sky looked like:
Looks all "fall-y" huh? hehe! And while the sky looked like this.... my tummy looked like this...
12 weeks and 4 days along. Baby B is a'growin and I LOVE it :)
After McDonalds, Ethan and I snuggled up, lit our fall candles, and watched "The Sixth Sense" because I'd never seen it before hehe! :)
Cheers to Project 365! :)

Project 365: Day 281- September 7th
I spent most of my day decorating our house for FALL! Oh yes, it is my favorite time of year, so I greatly enjoy going all out for it hehe! :) That would be our door, hehe!
Our chest with the fall towel, leaves, and candles :)
Our kitchen table :)
Our toilet hehe :)
And the rest of the day-- we went and looked at a 2 bedroom apartment, but I don't think we are going to purchase it. Then, we cuddled up and watched "Gone in 60 Seconds" and snacked hehe!
Cheers to Project 365!

Project 365: Day 275- September 1st
I spent my morning trying to get all of my homework done so that I could spend all day Thursday cleaning for the Ohio State Buckeye game. Once that was finished, I relaxed. Yes, I'm still sick. haha! But finally Ethan got home and we went to the pool for a few :)

Here's Ethan and Josh on the diving board :)
Then we headed home and got changed.. and headed to my parent's house for the evening! Mom made a yummy dinner-- cheesy bacon potato soup, toasted turkey sandwiches, and brownies. Mmm! And then we played some corn hole!

We won the first game-- then we got our butt kicked by these two the next 3 games, haha

And Mom set out all of her fall stuff already just for me! She knows how much i LOVE this time of year and I LOVE her decorations :)

It was a GREAT day :)
Cheers to Project 365!
