Project 365: Day 475- March 20th

First off, I'll share a quote from Quotemeal:

"Through a tree we were made debtors to God; so through a tree we have our debt canceled." [Irenaeus]

And now, for our Sunday update! :)

It was a typical morning. Ethan went to work out, I lounged around in my peejays eating breakfast, haha! Then, Ethan and his friends fixed my air conditioner in my car (it still needs charged, but the belt is on. YAY) and they were all tired, so we went up the road to a local restaurant. They typically close for the winter.... but they FINALLY opened Saturday, March 19th :) So we were all excited because they expanded their menu and their store! It was soooo good. Hubby and I got bacon double cheeseburgers (mine was with lettuce, tomato, and onion of course) and I got spicy curly fries. Yummy, yummy, yummy!!

After chowing down on this scrumptious food (I was starving...... oh don't act surprised, haha!) we went to the store to pick up some things and we also purchased headlight cleaner. I've been struggling to see the road at night.. my headlights were just too darn foggy. So, Ethan scrubbed those with this headlight cleaner and oh, what a difference it makes! I'm so glad I have a sweet husband that takes care of my vehicle for me :)

Then we came home and it was time to get started cleaning our 3rd bedroom. Ethan has been using it as a 'junk room' for quite some time. I don't have any pictures of it because we kept the door closed most of the time... and I was too scared to open it haha! He had our old big screen in there, all of his clothes were scattered on the floor, 4 guitars, 50 pairs of tennis shoes.. it was tragic! But Ethan (or Daddy as I usually call him when talking about things such as this....) thought Tay-Bug needed a 'play room' hehe! So, we got to cleaning. He cleaned out that room and I cleaned the rest of the house (because it needed an amazingly good scrub-down... plus, the exercise and up/down movements wouldn't hurt me ;) hehe!) We finally got everything that was cluttering up Tayler's room out of there. Do you remember what it previously looked like in her bedroom??

And now that Daddy cleaned out the other room, this is what Tayler's room looks like now:

Ahhhh, so much better! :) And are you ready to see the final product of Tayler's 'play room?' :)

I still has his hamper and stool in there, but oh my word, what progress we made!! It looks SO much better! I kept telling him over and over again how proud I was!! :)

My mom had all the women at my baby shower write down pieces of advice or letters to Tayler on those pink circles, so we finally got those hung up and we will eventually put a picture of Tayler in the center once she's born :) And of course, the bat Tayler's Uncle Jon and Aunt Arena bought her is above it! :)

There are some of her play things... her pack and play is in the corner and will get set-up eventually, hehe :) I'm just soooo glad it's taken care of now! Thank you so much Ethan, love, for all of your help!!

Once that was taken care of.... we were BEAT. I'm talking... 'can't even open your eyes' beat, haha. But we went and picked up some food and came home and watched 'You Again.' (We rented it from Netflix... one of the greatest inventions-- EVER, haha!!) Such a cute movie! I laughed and laughed! Kristen Bell is such a good actress! :)

Project 365: Day 442- February 15th

I just thought I'd take a random snapshot today of this belly :) I feel like it's getting more and more torpedo like, haha!! I'm so happy and so excited. Today marks at the minimum 30 days until we get to meet our sweetheart. An estimated 30-51 days. AHHHHH! :)

So what did I do in light of realizing this news? I cleaned up our living room and kitchen. It still had all of the stuff from the baby shower in it... and I hate messes, haha! So, I figured I'd take today to put everything in her room. It might not be the most organized, but it's in there. :) Here's a shot of the laundry basket her great Grandma got her and her bed :)

And here is Tayler's bed with her stuffed animals AND her beautiful personalized Bible :)

And we've got her pacis, paci holders, mittens, and books on the shelf :)

And I picked her coming home outfit too! YAY :) Now we can pack that up! I LOVE it. I picked an adorale little jean dress that I bought at JC Penney for like $4.00 (yes, we love bargains haha!), a cute little light pink onesie, a beautiful jacket with lime green and pink polka dots on it (you never know what this weather will be like in March/April, let me tell ya, haha!), white socks, and I picked a few different things to go on her head just in case... we have a headband with a flower, another headband, a few hats... and of course, her mittens and socks! :)

Here's the outfit:

And all of the other goodies with the outfit:

Yes, she's going to look just adorable, hehe! :)

And this is what our kitchen/living room looks like now! We've almost got everything put away :)

After all of that work, I was WORN OUT, haha! I relaxed for a few then realized that my husband was on his way home from work, so I chopped a few onions and a few green peppers... got the chicken together.. threw it in a skillet, added some pepper/salt/garlic.. and voila :) We were having stir fry for dinner! Plus, I made a pot of brown rice. YUMMY!!!!!!!!

We enjoyed 2 helpings a piece of that, haha! :) We were starving :)

And after that, we loaded up the truck and went to pick up a new mattress! OH yes, you could say this preggo momma was excited!!! My back hurts so bad and it was just time for us to have a nicer, comfier mattress. And that's what we did. Oh and please don't mind my husband acting like he was sleeping haha! He was in love as soon as he laid down on it :)

And then we literally went to bed. We were too excited about the mattress to NOT go to sleep LOL!

Project 365: Day 404- January 8th

We FINALLY put the finishing touches on Tayler's room today thanks to my mom (Tayler's Gigi, hehe) She made the bed skirt and curtains for our sweet Tay-Bug's room! Want to see it? Well, I would be happy to show it off hehe! :)

Gah, I ABSOLUTLEY love it :) Mom did such a good job on the curtains! Aren't they cute?? :) And here's an upclose of the bed skirt:

And mom bought some fabric for a blanket, so Ethan and I "made" it for Tayler last night too, hehe! Here's an upclose picture of it:

And her Aunt Susan bought her a sign for her room that we have hanging on her door. Here's what it says, haha:

She's our little Diva :)

And here is the proud Gigi showing off her amazing work. She did such a good job! I am so thankful to have such a good momma! I feel SO blessed :)

And this would be my husband and me in her room :) We couldn't be more happy or excited! 89 more days until Tayler's due date... and she finally gets to see her room, hehe :)

After we got the room put together, we went to the Depot for dinner, and then mom and I headed to the grocery store. I now know when to go to the grocery-- about 7:30PM on a Saturday night, haha! It was a ghost town in there and I LOVED it :) Plus, I love the fact that we finally have a full fridge again, haha!

And then I came home, Ethan helped me unload the groceries, and we cuddled in with TJ and Lakin (okay, we didn't cuddle with them, haha... they were on the couch, we were in the recliner LOL) to watch "Avatar." We've already seen it, but we all wanted to watch it again thanks to Netflix :)

And sadly, we fell asleep. We are seriously the worst host EVER, haha! They were both still awake and we were completely zonked out for like 35-40 minutes. *sigh* We're getting old LOL

Project 365: Day 385- December 20th

Yesterday, we got Tayler's mobile in the mail. We were SO excited to see it because it was black and white polka dots and pink accents. Ethan wasn't home yet when I got it... so, I put it together alone. And oh my heavens, it didn't come with directions LOL So, it took me awhile, but I finally got it put together and on here crib :) Here is an upclose of it:

And I LOVE what it looks like in her bedroom :)

I LOVE her bedroom, hehe :)

After that, Ethan came home and we went to meet my mom at Tayler's ultrasound :) She was an active little lady before so I knew she was going to be through the ultrasound-- she hates them putting things on my belly, haha! They got me in quick (thank God because last time I had to wait 40 minutes and I had to  pee SO bad haha) And we got to see our sweetheart!

(Here she was waving to us, hehe! Isn't she the cutest thing, ever?? :))

(A flipped view. She was moving so much. I love hearing the ultrasound technicians tell us that :) She had a strong heartbeat of 144. I absolutely love her)

(She was singing... my mom said she was talking like her mother haha! but either way, we could see her tongue a flippin' out there, haha!)

(Her big feet, haha!!)

We had such a good time :) I love seeing her!!

After that, we ran some errands, came home, relaxed, and drank some hot cocoa that Marie and Corey bought us. We tried it with water the other night and it was yummy, BUT Ethan suggested using milk next time... and oh my heavens, I warmed up some milk on the stove and it was SO yummy!!

Project 365: Day 375- December 10th

Today was a fun day for Tayler! Why? Because she got lots of things today from some of her mommy's friends... and her mommy and daddy, haha! First on the list was this onesie which we were absolutely STOKED about. She even has a headband and hat to wear with it :)

Is that not the cutest thing EVER? hehe! I just adore it! And I can't wait til she can wear it in the Spring/Summer!:)

After that arrived, Tayler got her very own package. Yes, it was addressed to her.. and it was SO surreal to actually see her name where someone else wrote it. Adorable!

And what was in this package? A picture frame my friend Kat made us, hehe! It matches her bedroom and even has her name wrote on it! We absolutely LOVE it!

Now it's deciding what picture to put in it. Hmmmm. Any suggestions??

AND, we got our ornament in the mail from our Secret Santa gift exchange with my Plurk girls. Kat got me in the exchange and bought us this ornament:

Can you tell who our family roots for? haha! Bring on that Sugar Bowl, brothas! :)

Ethan finally got home, we grabbed some food, and I started working on putting together the stand my parents got us for Tayler's room. Unfortunately, I didn't have a screw driver so I put together what I could with SCISSORS (yes, I put the edge of the scissors in the screw and twisted it... ridiculous, haha) and then once Ethan got home, he put the rest together, bless his heart. We put it in her room with her picture frame and this is what it looks like:

The white spaces are for pictures which means we've got to pick those out too! Decisions, decisions, haha! We'll see what we come up with. In the mean time, I think it looks great! We love it and her room is FINALLY starting to come together!

After that, we had such a lazy night, but funny story-- Tayler hardly moved all day today. She usually kicks like 50 times a day and I got maybe 7 today, haha. Well, Ethan came home and started telling me about Ke$ha's new song "We R Who We R..." (He knows I can't STAND her music LOL) and he starts playing it.. and wouldn't you know it... my daughter starts going crazy in there! He stops the music, she stops. He plays the music, she goes crazy again. All I can say is it better have been kicking and moving in PROTEST of that music, haha!!

Project 365: Day 361- November 26th

This morning I got up lacking a great deal of motivation, haha! Just being honest here! I think Thanksgiving wore me out. So, I vegged today. I'm serious. I relaxed on the couch with a HUGE crossword puzzle and "The Office: Season 5." How enjoyable :) Honestly, I just wanted Ethan home and I was completely bummed he had to work :( But oh well, it happens, huh? :)

He FINALLY came home later on in the afternoon, we ran some errands, and came home to put Tayler's changing table together (okay-- he put it together, haha! He's better at that stuff than I am LOL) Here he is working on it:

And here is the finished product :) We LOVE it. It matches the crib perfectly!

And we finally put the storage unit in her closet too:

ANDDDDD, her mattress came today for her crib :)

And I think Ethan probably detested me today LOL No, I'm totally kidding! We put our Christmas tree and our decorations up after getting Tayler's crib together :) My mom and dad soooo graciously let us borrow their pre-lit fake tree hehe, so that's what we used and I bought bulbs and decorations for it awhile ago so we were prepared! :) Here is Ethan working on putting the tree together:

And unfortunately, I forgot my camera was on the couch, which Ethan took FULL ADVANTAGE of while I was decorating, haha! It didn't start out too bad:

Then we started getting pictures like this:

HAHAHHA! What a creeper LOL! And you can tell, as I'm decorating.... I'm oblivious! :) But we finally got the tree decorated. Here it is along with a shot of the tree skirt and the star (which Ethan put on :))

And the tree skirt: (Yes, we have some gifts under there already-- and yes, I am choosing to do gift bags as opposed to wrapping. I suck at wrapping, hahaha!)

And the star on top of the tree:

And our stocking tree :) We have personalized stockings hehe, I love it!

And our kitchen table with our tea lights:

And to make it even more traditional, we had our pine/vanilla/and cinnamon candles lit and we were drinking Egg Nog :) Good, good times! After that, we cuddled up and watched "Grown Ups"... such a cute, funny movie!

After watching it, we went to his mom's house for some leftover Thanksgiving Day food :) We spent some time with Carol, Arena, and Jon... then Ethan decided to go to Walmart with TJ to do his own Christmas shopping, hehe! I, of course, stayed home and went to bed! I was absolutely beat! But I was awaken at I don't know what time in the morning to Ethan telling me he had a present for me :) Guess what it was?

HAHAHAHA! How funny is he?? LOL He had me immediately try them on and they were really comfy and warm! Loved them :)

Cheers to Project 365!

August 13th Journal Prompt: Anger.

The journal prompt of the day is: How do you deal with your anger? I bottle a lot of my emotions up inside. If I feel anger- it may show on...
