Saturday, February 1st is "Give Kids a Smile" Day, so do something today to give your kids a smile whether it's a fun breakfast, a new activity. You know your kids and what works!

Sunday, February 2nd- It's "Groundhog Day!" Do a "My Little Groundhog" craft (PINTEREST LINK)

Monday, February 3rd- Today is "National Carrot Cake" Day so any takers on what we are making today? Here's a great Pinterest recipe! (PINTEREST LINK)

Tuesday, February 4th- In honor of it being cold, we are going to make homemade hot cocoa together! (RECIPE HERE)

Wednesday, February 5th- Today is "World Nutella Day" so we are enjoying some Nutella on our waffles before school!

Friday, February 7th- Today is National Fettuccine Alfredo Day! Guess what's for dinner!

Saturday, February 8th- A little under a week until Valentine's Day, so our activities are going to center around that for the week! Today we are going to do a Valentine's Day Word Search (PINTEREST LINK)

Sunday, February 9th- Today we are going to celebrate National Pizza Day, however!! And we are going to enjoy pizza for lunch!

Tuesday, February 11th- Today, we are going to make Valentine's Day slime! (PINTEREST LINK)

Wednesday, February 12th- Tonight, we need to work on our Valentine's Day boxes!

Friday, February 14th- Going to organize a Valentine's Day scavenger hunt for my family! And we are going to do that today. I have a link to some Pinterest ideas right HERE for anyone that wants to do a scavenger hunt too!

Saturday, February 15th- Today is "National Gumdrop Day!" So guess what we are going to enjoy!

Sunday, February 16th- President's Day is tomorrow, so we are going to celebrate that today as well! We are going to do an "If I were president" craft (PINTEREST LINK)

Monday, February 17th- Today is President's Day! We are going to do some President's Day crafts! (PINTEREST LINK)

Wednesday, February 19th- Today is National Chocolate Mint Day so we are going to make a No-Bake Mint Chocolate Chip Pie. (RECIPE HERE)

Thursday, February 20th- In honor of it still being WINTER, we are going to make melted snowmen! (PINTEREST LINK)

Friday, February 21st- Today is National Sticky Bun day, so we are going to enjoy some gooey sticky buns for breakfast this morning! (RECIPE HERE)

Saturday, February 22nd- In honor of Winter, we are going to make mosaic snowflakes. (PINTEREST LINK)

Monday, February 24th- Today is National Tortilla Chip Day so it's NACHOS FOR DINNER!

Tuesday, February 25th- Today is NATIONAL PANCAKE DAY!!!! Guess what's for breakfast!

Wednesday, February 26th- Today is National Pistachio Day! So we are going to have a lovely Pistachio dessert! (RECIPE)

Saturday, February 29th- Today is LEAP DAY!!! So we are going to make Origami Frogs (LINK)

January Activities

Well, it's the day after Christmas and you know what that means, right?

The fun doesn't stop around the Bay house! One of my "goals" this year is to be more active and doing something (even if it's tiny) every day with the kids!

We're going to kick off January with some New Years activities! 

Want to join in?

Every day we have an activity to do together as well as a Bible verse that can encourage us during the next month. For New Years, we have encouraging quotes about resting in God and knowing that God has our future in His hands. For National Book Month, we will read Bible verses about studying and being diligent in our reading and learning. Every activity, every holiday has some verse to reflect on. 

Let's do this!

Thursday, December 26th- Clean up after Christmas. Play with our new activities, toys, etc.

Tuesday, December 31st- Have a New Years Eve party complete with games, movies, etc.

Saturday, January 4th- Did you know January is also "National Get Organized Month?" Let's take some time today to reorganize our rooms, etc. A clean, organized home greatly reduces unnecessary stress.

Sunday, January 5th- Let's work on a "Chore Chart" for 2020. Organize things for us to do every day, every week, etc.

Monday, January 6th- Today is Sherlock Holmes' Birthday! Let's celebrate with a fun activity and talk about who he was! We have a word search we can do (linked) and here's a little bit of a back story on Sherlock Holmes to read (link)

Wednesday, January 8th- It's National BUBBLE BATH DAY! You know what our activity is tonight, right?
