Project 365: Day 405- January 9th

Today was my a surprise birthday party for my Grandpa. He turned "70" on January 8th. Ethan and I got him an old man card, haha! On the front, it had an elderly man and one picture he states, "My problem is I can't stop peeing after 7:30AM..." In the next picture, the same elderly man states, "My other problem is, I can't stop pooping after 8:00AM..." and on the inside it has another picture of his elderly gentleman and he states, "But my big problem is I can't get out of bed til 9:00AM." HAHAH :) I thought Grandpa would enjoy that! Here's a picture of the card and following that is a picture of my Grandpa opening his cards:

And here's a shot of Grandpa's awesome cake. Of course, it's Ohio State :) We're Buckeye fans around here!

And here's SHERRY. hahaha! Ethan was talking to her and he was trying to say "Shelly will share" but it came out, "Sherry will.." and by that point he already realized he messed that one up, haha! :)

The guys (and Aunt Shelly) even had a jamming session upstairs after the party. It was cool to show Ethan how my dad used to play the drums hehe :)

Here's a picture of my Grandma and me. She's hilarious! She was talking to me about how Tyler (the kid standing up in the picture) preached that morning and it was so good. I said "What was it about?" She looks at me and you could tell the wheels were turning.. she couldn't remember LOL She said "Something about God..." hahahaha! I just love her!

When we were leaving, Mom gave us a present from our friends Lindsey and Mike. They bought Tayler a new pair of booties and a few onesies and a cute little jean dress. I won't post pictures of all of the clothes, but here is the jean dress I just adore!

Once we got home, I napped for a few hours while Ethan went to run some errands. When he came home, he asked me if I wanted to go out to eat with some friends of ours. Of course I did! :) So, Jon, Arena, Lakin, TJ, Ethan, and me headed to Applebees. YUMMY! I got the chicken finger basket with fries and bbq sauce. SOOOO GOOD.
