5 Weeks Pregnant with #3

It's kind of neat. I've blogged about my first two pregnancies on this very same blog. I was pregnant for my first daughter from July 29, 2010 (the day I found out) to March 31, 2011 (the day she was born.) I was pregnant for my second daughter from August 24, 2012 (the day I found out) to May 2, 2013 (the day she was born.) And guess what?

I get to blog for our THIRD child.

That's right, folks.

Baby Bay #3 should be gracing us with his/her presence somewhere between October 23rd-October 27th (I'm not sure my exact due date, but I know a little bit of an estimate with those, lol.) I will know exacts in a few weeks at our first ultrasound! We are very excited.

About a month ago, I had a dream that my cousin and I were pregnant at the same time and we both had beautiful baby boys. Well, wouldn't you know it-- about 2 weeks after that dream, she messages me and tells me that she's pregnant! I found out I was expecting on Valentine's Day, then continued taking tests clear up until Monday, February 17th. Monday evening, I received a text message from a dear friend of mine that said, 'Hey lady! I had a dream you were pregnant and having a baby boy. How weird is that??' She had NO idea I was pregnant.. or even close to being pregnant, haha! On Tuesday morning, my grandmother told me she had a dream I was pregnant and having a baby boy. She had NO idea I was pregnant.. or even close to being pregnant.

All of these are reasons I believe we are having a beautiful baby boy that will complete our family in ways I had never dreamed of.

It's interesting getting pregnant for your third.

Your first-- EVERYONE in the world is excited for you. They're giving you advice, asking you questions.. They're thrilled. They're telling you how much you're going to love being pregnant, how much you're going to love being a Mommy or a Daddy.

Your second-- Everyone is still excited because you're giving your first a sibling, but the excitement dies down just a little bit. You're already a parent.. it's just exciting to think about what the next one will look like, how they will act, etc.

Your third-- You start getting different advice. LOL

'Are you crazy?'
'Do you know how hard that's going to be?'
'Do you know that your youngest will only be 19 months old when your third is born?'
'How will you have room for everyone?'
'Their teenage years are going to be crazy for you.'
'Say goodbye to sleep!'
'Do you know what's causing that? We can help you figure it out!'
'Is this your last?'

Like I said, it's interesting.

Sure, people are excited.. but some are questionable.

I am thrilled that we are having a third child. I feel complete in my heart knowing that this is our third and final. Sure, I'll have sleepless nights. I have sleepless nights now and my children are 2 and almost 10 months. I think we wake up in our sleep more times than not as parents-- check on our children, investigate noises.

I know this baby is a miracle and a blessing... and we will make it work. Sure, we might not have enough room in our home right now, but we will take care of that baby. We will love that baby. And I think that's all that he/she needs right now :)

I'll be 27 1/2 when this baby is born. And for the first time in my life, I feel 'complete' that this will be our last child. I feel at peace. I never thought that would happen, but it has. I am blessed beyond measure that we were able to have the children that we have. I am grateful every day for His goodness.

I'm about 5 1/2 weeks pregnant at this moment in time.

I thought I'd start my weekly questions :) It was always fun for Quinn.

How far along? 5 weeks.
Total Weight Gain? None.
Maternity Clothes? Nah!
Stretch Marks? I have some from both pregnancies already!
Sleep: I'm always tired already, haha! I have an almost 3 year old and an almost 10 month old, lol
Best Moment of This Week: Well, how about a few weeks combined? Seeing positive pregnancy tests.
Miss Anything? Caffeinated coffee. This Decaf stuff is for the birds, ha!
Movement: Of course not. Lol
Food Cravings: Japanese Steakhouse.
Anything Make You Queasy or Sick? Just certain smells make me queasy right now. No vomiting or anything :)
Gender: We have no idea!
Labor Signs: I'd sure hope not! :)
Symptoms: Nausea, heartburn, sore boobies, exhaustion
Belly Button In or Out? She's an innie!
Wedding rings on or off? On!
Happy or Moody this Week?  A little bit of both! It's that first trimester... I'm always kind of upset during that time. It's confusing... scary... exciting.. nerve wrecking.. all wrapped up in to one!
Looking Forward To: Seeing our baby down the road :)

Cheers to 5 weeks! On to 6 weeks :)

Congratulations! It's going to be a challenging few months ahead for you now; a lot of which will involve you having to take more rests and recuperating in bed. This shouldn't be much of a worry; one can always get home care, so you have someone to assist you should help be needed.

The journal prompt of the day is: How do you deal with your anger? I bottle a lot of my emotions up inside. If I feel anger- it may show on...
