19 Weeks Pregnant

We turned 19 weeks pregnant on [06.04.2014]

Hard to believe in 5 days we will be half way there already-- that's 5 months! :)

'Baby Bump' says the baby is the size of an heirloom tomato. They estimate you're about 6" long (you were 6.5" at our last ultrasound) and about 8 ounces (you were 8 ounces at our last ultrasound.) Looks like you're measuring right on schedule, buddy :)

I have been starving this week! I put my Facebook status as this:

Someone told me before I even knew the gender of this little baby that if you're having a boy, you'll always be hungry and never feel full (and even when he's born, he'll eat you out of house and home.. Until he's out of your home.. And even then he will be back to visit) and I can honestly say I believe that 100%! I cannot even begin to list everything I have consumed today and here I sit, 8:45pm, starving. It's unreal, lol! I realllllly don't know how I've only gained 3lbs.. And how he's only 1/2 a pound.. Because I feel like we should both be A LOT heavier than that! Hahaha!

It's the truth. :)

We have 18-21 weeks until we get to meet you-- that's about 126-146 days! Getting closer and closer!!

So... about your name.

I have been so indecisive... and annoying! I just don't FEEL anything and it is so upsetting. I LOVED the girls names when we picked them and I feel so bad that I just don't have a name I absolutely love for baby #3. So, I wrote a list of 11 names that I like and let Daddy decided...

He picked Lucas Grady..

So there you have it!

Now for the weekly pregnancy questions :)

Letter D Activities (June 2, 2014- June 6, 2014)

Letter 'D' Activities

Monday 6/2/2014: We are going to trace/draw the letter 'D' and hang it on the fridge. Tayler really likes doing this every week... Quinn just kind of hangs back and watches, haha :)

Tuesday 6/3/2014: We are going to DRAW pictures for DADDY. We can discuss that DADDY starts with the letter 'D.' We can't wait to make him really pretty pictures that he can look at when he gets home from work :)

Wednesday 6/4/2014: June is DAIRY month (according to First School Preschool Activities.) So, we are going to make chocolate shakes and have some string cheese and enjoy those for DAIRY month. I want to talk to Tayler and Quinn about what DAIRY is. They both love cheese sticks and milk of course, so I think it will be a fun day for them!

Thursday 6/5/2014: We are going to play with 'DRUMS' (a.k.a bowls, pots, pans, spoons.) The girls love making noise, so I am sure they will really enjoy this! We will talk about how DRUMS start with the letter 'D!'

Friday 6/6/2014: We are going to DIG in the DIRT. The girls will absolutely have a blast with this!! I'm sure Mommy will have a blast cleaning their clothes TOO LOL. I also plan on playing music so we can DANCE today too!

Delightful!

18 Weeks Pregnant

We are 18 weeks pregnant as of May 28, 2014 :)

It was an exciting week-- we were anticipating an ultrasound on Thursday! I was SO excited to see baby boy! :) I always say this--- but it never gets old!

Here is the handsome fella:

8 ounces, 6.5" of pure cuteness, let me tell you! They said everything looks perfect which is very relieving! I pray every day that all is well with baby boy and myself. We just want healthy in every way!

I was having a hard time believing that I have my 22 week appointment, 26 week appointment, 30 week and we start going EVERY 2 WEEKS. 3 appointments and we start going every 2 weeks.. SERIOUSLY? It's FLYING and thankfully it has been relatively cool so far! :) I know it's only the first of June, but I'm very thankful it has been too hot yet!

Alright-- 18 week belly shot:

I obviously took this prior to our ultrasound, haha! I'm running really behind on my blog posts this week! :(

I am feeling baby boy consistently now-- Ethan even got to feel him moving around! :) It's wonderful to be able to feel it on the outside now! I LOVE it! NEVER gets old-- ever! He is so precious to me already!

We are a little under 5 months away from our due date-- crazy talk!

Alright, 18 week questions coming at you!

C-Week (Alphabet Weeks-- Days 1-5)

I thought I would start posting weekly updates instead of daily because I was struggling to get on here every day :) So, here is how C-WEEK went with my little ladies!

Monday (5/26/2014)- CELEBRATE. Since it's Memorial Day, I thought we would take some time to CELEBRATE. I have patriotic outfits for the girls, plus we are going to go to a parade :) I want the girls to understand why we CELEBRATE.  "Memorial Day, originally called Decoration Day, is a day of remembrance for those who have died in service of the United States of America. Over two dozen cities and towns claim to be the birthplace of Memorial Day. While Waterloo N.Y. was officially declared the birthplace of Memorial Day by President Lyndon Johnson in May 1966, it’s difficult to prove conclusively the origins of the day. Regardless of the exact date or location of its origins, one thing is clear – Memorial Day was borne out of the Civil War and a desire to honor our dead." (Taken from HERE)

Tuesday (5/27/2014)- Today's task will be tracing the letter 'C' and hanging it on the fridge. I want this to be something we do every week so Tayler (and Quinn) get used to writing their letters instead of just recognizing them when they see them.

Wednesday (5/28/2014)- We are going to cut out letter Cs and draw on them, then hang them on the fridge along with our traced letters. I got the idea HERE, but instead of using a paper plate, we are going to use construction paper. (And instead of numbers we are going to draw on them.) I think Tayler will really like this activity!

Thursday (5/29/2014)- We are going to discuss the fact that CARS begins with the letter 'C' and we are going to play with our toy cars we have (they're Bubble Guppy toy cars) and we are going to watch 'CARStoons: Mater's Tall Tales' on Netflix. It sounds like the perfect addition to our CARS theme today!

Friday (5/30/2014)- COLORS. We are going to learn about the different colors today. Hopefully it will be nice enough that we can be outside... we have tons of COLORS in our sidewalk CHALK kit that I would love to be able to use! This is the one subject Tayler hasn't learned yet (she knows her alphabet, numbers, and shapes... so this just seems to be the perfect thing to end C-Week with!)

August 13th Journal Prompt: Anger.

The journal prompt of the day is: How do you deal with your anger? I bottle a lot of my emotions up inside. If I feel anger- it may show on...
