Project 365: Day 28- July 14th (And Project 52)

We had a swimming day today with Kyra and Bentley! :) What fun, let me tell you, hehe! Tayler and Bentley are getting soooo big! If you remember correctly (or if you're just catching up with my life...) Kyra and I were pregnant at the same time. We were preggo partners and she ended up having Bentley March 1st, 2011 and I had Tayler March 31st, 2011 :) And now Bentley is 4 months old and Tayler is 3.5 months... and boy oh boy, they are hilarious together. Check out this picture:

Oh my goodness. ADORABLE, right? haha! These two are just soooo cute, I can't get over it! :)

And I took a separate picture of Tayler to mark her being 15 weeks old today. Seriously. 15 weeks! She's almost 4 months old. People--- that's 1/4 of a year! Where in the world has time gone?! And where is my itty bitty baby? She's so freaking independent now. She won't let me snuggle here while sleeping anymore. She won't sit back on my chest. She won't lay on my chest. She's teething. She's cranky, haha! She's learning to sit up. (It's a work in progress.... I'll post that picture in a second too!) She's cooing. She's talking a whole lot. She's laughing. She's stealing my heart every single day :)

Please note that that bathing suit is 24months. Bathing suits HAVE to be made super small. haha!

And here's her trying to sit up:

We're working on it! :)

And I had a lot to get done yesterday in between our swimming. One of those things was to make sure that the chicken was in the crock pot by 1:30PM so that it would be ready before E left for work. So, I had to hurry up and run inside to do that... and it was time for Bentley to eat, so Kyra had to go make him a bottle. What did that mean for Ethan?

What you can't see is that Bentley was SCREAMING when this picture was taken, haha! After snapping the shot, I got him out of E's hands because he was freaking out! LOL It was adorable. What would we ever do with twins? I'm not sure, haha!

And oh yes-- you have to check out this picture. We laid them on the floor for some tummy time and what did they do? Watch 'Chain Reaction' of course! :)

TOO FREAKING CUTE! :)

Cheers to Project 365 and Project 52. My baby's getting big!

Project 365: Day 27- July 13th

So, first, I have to show the picture of my sweet baby girl today! :) I'm not particularly a HUGE fan of tutus, but I thought the little outfit she had on today was adorable, hehe! Mom kept telling her she looked like a ballerina, haha! :)

And today was dedicated to working on things for the wedding reception. For those of you out of the loop, my husband and I got married on a whim on December 28th, 2011 by the mayor of the city (oops-- village) we used to live in. So, we decided that after we had Tayler and after she was a little older, we were going to have a wedding reception so we could celebrate our marriage with everyone :) Here's a shot of one of our wedding pictures:

I think it's adorable, hehe :)

So today I worked on invites, decorations, etc. It was a LONG process, but I think it's definitely going to be worth it! I cannot wait to celebrate with all of our friends and family :)

And my wedding dress is on it's way. I'm not going to say which one it is or even if it's on this page or not , haha! This was just to document that it's COMING! :)

Cheers to Project 365!

Project 365: Day 26- July 12th

I thought Tayler looked EXTRA cute today, haha! :) This dress was bought in October of last year... Walmart had a HUGE sale on clothes and I had JUST found out I was having a baby girl, so of course, we went on a crazy shopping spree for her! :) Doesn't she look adorable, hehe!

She looks pretty ornery too, huh? haha!

Here's an upclose of that perty face!

We spent the day relaxing with Daddy before he had to go to work, then we got ourselves ready and went to look at houses with Papaw and Gigi. They are planning on moving closer to where we are getting a house (and closer to my brother/sister), sooo we went to check out some places! :) It was a tough process, so we all went to Tom's Ice Cream Bowl after hehe! This place is so awesome. In 1998, it was rated the #1 place to grab a scoop in the USA by US Today! :) Yummy! I had a cheeseburger, fries, chocolate ice cream, and hot fudge :)

Tayler was enjoying the time by being a big girl. She LOVES standing anymore, haha! :)

I said 'Tayler, say HEY daddy!' and this is what I got, haha! Ethan loved the picture :)

And she had had it by the end of the night. She was worn out and just wanted sleep, so Papaw rocked her to sleep :) It was precious!

Cheers to Project 365!

Project 365: Day 25- July 11th

Monday morning I got up and got things done because Ethan and Tayler were getting pictures taken with an amazing photographer here in Zanesville! :) I was SUPER excited. In June, they won a Father's Day Contest for their adorable picture, hehe, soooo today was the day to get those pictures taken! :) We decided on an Ohio State Buckeyes theme since Tayler and E both had that in their wardrobe. Here is Tay getting ready to leave the house:

Doesn't she look adorable? hehe! If you want to see our pictures, be sure to add 'Jessica Barber Photography' on Facebook! :)

We got there and it looked gorgeous, then out of NO WHERE this crazy storm hit. I swear, the winds had to be at least 50 miles an hour. Leaves were blowing like crazy. We could hardly get our door open to our car. I was freaking out because we had Tayler out there, it was sooo scary! But once we got in the car, we realized Tayler wasn't at all concerned, haha!

So, we went over to pick up the prop for E's boat, then we headed back home but not before stopping to grab something to eat! :) This is one of my favorite places.... I got a salad and garlic bread. YUM :) But while waiting for our food, we, of course, played with Tayler. She thinks she's something anymore, haha! ;)

There she is with her daddy and then when she was with mommy, she was constantly shoving the place mat off the table, haha! She's hilarious! :)

Cheers to Project 365!

Project 365: Day 24- July 10th

It was HOT HOT HOT yesterday, so guess what we did??

WE WENT SWIMMING :)

E and I decided to take our Tayter-Bug swimming... we all love the water so it was the perfect occasion!

Here's a shot of Daddy and Tayler swimming:

And Mommy and Tayler-Bug:

Doesn't that water look soooo refreshing? Oh my word!

After swimming, I made ranch chicken for dinner and sent E on his way to work. I snuggled up with Tayler. She's starting the teething process and has been REALLY fussy the past few nights :( All she wants is to suck on her fingers, slobber, and fuss. I feel so bad for her. The doctor told us we could give her half a thing of Baby Tylenol and rub some Baby Oragel on her gums and that seemed to help her last night, poor baby. Here she is laying on our bed, trying to just relax..

She was so upset last night, I felt so bad for her. The only thing that seemed to really calm her down (aside from the medicine) was sitting outside on the porch swing. It seemed to distract her.

After that, we cuddled up in bed and watched our shows: 'Hoarders,' 'Bridezillas,' and 'Amsale Girls.' :)

Cheers to Project 365!

Wedding Plans-- Ba Bing!

I thought I'd share our plans for our upcoming Wedding Reception :) It's taking place July 30th, 2011-- and boy am I excited!

The theme?

[picture via: google]

MASQUERADE BALL :)

That's right. Masks. Masks. Masks. I love that look!

Our colors are: Black, Gold, and White (I think that'll be classy--- eeeek!)

and our centerpieces are something like this:

Except, we want them to be black feathers... with masks on the table for everyone! :)

We are planning on having a photographer as well as a DJ.... oh yea, we 'bout to jam! What is our song going to be??

'Crazy Girl' by The Eli Young Band. It's our life story. Period.

Daddy and I's song? 'I Loved Her First' by Heartland. He saw my first breath, it fits :)

The dinner menu is suppose to be: baked steaks, mashed potatoes, salads, and rolls.. and of course, CAKE. (which hasn't been decided on yet... :/ oops, haha!)

And I'm working on getting a dress. Budget is tight (which is why we got married at the courthouse in the first place LOL) sooo I'm looking for a cheap one! We'll see what I can scrounge up (wait-- who says that about their 'wedding dress' hahaha! This girl!)

If there's anything else to share, I'll add on to this, but I wanted to get everything wrote out for my own peace of mind, hehe! :)

August 13th Journal Prompt: Anger.

The journal prompt of the day is: How do you deal with your anger? I bottle a lot of my emotions up inside. If I feel anger- it may show on...
