Project 365: Day 354- November 19th

I spent the first part of my day creating a grocery list and clipping some coupons :) I have a wonderful momma who gets me TONS of coupons hehe so, I wrote up our grocery list, then figured out how to save some monnnnnn-ayyy! :) We have a huge grocery list this week because I REFUSE to go grocery shopping next week (I typically go on Fridays or Saturdays.. and uhhh, it's Black Friday weekend next week. No thanks, I'm good haha!) So, we're going to have about 2 weeks of groceries this week.. should be interesting. However, I'm totally stoked for our meals these upcoming weeks. I'm trying out some new recipes. I'm making steak fajitas, nacho cheese chowder soup, red potatoes and green beans, and a buffalo chicken dip. Yummy, huh? We shall see :)

After working on our grocery list, I started my CHRISTMAS SHOPPING!!! Oh I am totally serious. I wish I could sit here and go on and on about what we bought today for our families, but unfortunately, (okay not unfortunately, I'm glad they read this blog haha) they read this blog. So, that will have to remain a mystery until AFTER Christmas. Then we'll go into what we purchased, but can I just say this--- I AM ABSOLUTELY STOKED. Let me tell you---- giving is SOOO much better than getting! I love seeing faces light up when they see their presents. Ethan and I have tried to put a lot of heart into our gifts this year and make them personal. We are really excited! I have 13 people to buy for this year and I bought for 9 of them today. How cool is that? Oh, I am sooo excited! Next Friday, we finally get to put our tree up! Then the wrapping will REALLY begin :)

Oh, and I just have to document what I got in the mail today, haha! About a week ago or so, I had a complete crying meltdown because I couldn't get the salsa jar opened while Ethan was at work. LOL Like literally bawling my eyes out with frustration, haha! So, I go to the mailbox today and I see a package in there from my friend Kat. And here is what was inside:

She even went as far as writing "No more meltdowns" on the package, haha! She's hilariously funny! Thanks again Kat! :)

And while doing all of this today, I watched "The Office: Season 3." Okay, so you could say it's a SLIGHT addiction now, haha! Either way, I laugh all day long and that my friends, is beautiful :)

Around 6:00PM, Ethan FINALLY came home! :) So, we went and grabbed some food. I got the Chipotle Chicken Wrap and Seasoned Fries from the Depot and they were SOOOO yummy!

Yeah, look at that scrumptiousness, haha :) and while eating we watched "The Timeline." Honestly, you'd think with a cast featuring Gerard Butler and Paul Walker, it'd be a good movie, but it just didn't hold my interest. Maybe it had to do with being set in the 14th century? LOL I don't know, but either way, I kept dozing off in the middle of it (alright, so that isn't too surprising... I know haha)

Project 365: Day 353- November 18th

I woke 5 MONTHS PREGNANT today :) That's right... today marks 20 weeks pregnant. We are half way there, baby!

I get these cute little updates on my Facebook hehe and there was todays! :) And would you like to see Tayler and I's progress? Sure, why not!

And here's a belly shot. She's really growing!

:) We are sooo in love already!

At lunch time, I met my mom at a local sub place. It was soooo good! I got a 5" philly steak sub with green peppers, onions, and tons of mayo! Plus, I got baked barbeque lays and a Sierra Mist. Yummy! It was great! Mom and I enjoyed some conversation and had a great time! Here's a shot of us leaving the sub place:

Once I got home, you best bet I started up "The Office" again :) We are now on to Season 2, hehe! Ethan wasn't getting home til late, so I had plenty of time to relax and enjoy it :)

And FINALLY Ethan got home... we grabbed some dinner, kicked back and watched some of "The Office".. and then we headed to Dollar General so I could get a big pillow. You see, I've hit the stage where my legs are now cramping as I sleep and I need like a huge pillow between them to support my back as well. And look at this big pillow we found:

It's perfectly wonderful :)

And then Ethan and I cuddled up to watch "The Invention of Lying." Now-- this movie started out rather funny, but I think it turned into more of a philosophical movie. I'm still not really sure if I actually liked the movie or not, lol. It was good, but... eh. Not sure, haha!

Project 365: Day 352- November 17th

Boy, I'm sure you all are talking about what an INTERESTING week I have had, hahaha! Sorry, Ethan has been working some crazy hours... and I did all my homework at the beginning of the week AND cleaned. So, like everything I HAVE to do... is done, hahaha! Which could be why my Project 365 has been totally lacking this week. I'm super sorry. Thanksgiving is next week though so I should have some pretty awesome pictures of that, Lord willing :) So, what did I do yesterday? Well, I washed our bedding. I LOVE clean bedding. I LOVE the smell of clean bedding *sigh* If I could wash our bedding every day, I totally would haha! Here's a good look at it after I got it washed...

Looks nice and comfy huh? Yesss, it was! And yes, you can see my snacks over there to the left, haha! What preggo woman DOESN'T have snacks next to her bed? Okay, maybe it's just me, but I'm a late night snacker. Oh, and don't frown at me-- they're all healthy. Well, besides the slim-jims, but shhhh! :)

While washing the bedding, guess what else I did? STARTED WATCHING THE OFFICE :) I've seen a few episodes here and there and totally busted up laughing during every single one, but I've never watched The Office straight through, so I started Season 1 today. Fortunately, they have every season on Netflix, Hallelujah!

After watching a few episodes, Ethan finally came home and we got ready to go to Sertoma Pancake Day in Zanesville. If you're interested, you can check out what exactly Pancake Day is here. I, unfortunately, did not take any pics partially due to the fact that I was scarfing down all-you-can-eat pancakes, sausage, and orange juice, haha! (We went with my mom and dad. I definitely need to add that in there, hehe!) But I took a picture off of Zanesville Times Recorder's website to show you a little bit of what was going on:

They make pancakes on those huge, uhm, pans? LOL and they set them right there on the table... you walk past, pick up a plate of pancakes, walk further and grab some sausage, and an OJ and have a seat. Amazingness. PLUS, we got the tickets for free. Beautiful :)

After that, we headed home and watched the new "Karate Kid." Such a good movie! Will Smith's son does an excellent job as well as Jackie Chan :)

Project 365: Day 351- November 16th

Woke up this morning to a cold and rainy day! And guess what that means in this household? A lazy day! Yes, a day full of cuddling up on the couch with blankets! We haven't had a *true* rainy, cold day in such a long time, so it was actually REALLY relaxing. I spent the greater part of the day working on 2 homework assignments and a project that is due next week. I just wanted to get things out of the way, that's for sure!

After that, I relaxed until Ethan got home and then we headed to Chipotle. I was originally going to make lasagna last night, but I seriously wasn't feeling it AT ALL. Being pregnant, I have to really be feeling something to eat it.. or else it just makes me feel nauseous just thinking about it! LOL So, we got Chipotle Burrito Bowls :) Yum!

And once we got home, we got our showers, put on our warm flannel pajamas, and it was Ethan's night to pick a movie. He picked "Brooklyn's Finest..." and let me tell you, it wasn't that great of a movie. If you are a Richard Gere fan, you are going to be heavily disappointed with his role in this movie. It was interesting, but pretty graphic, lots of violence, and quite a bit of foul language. I struggled to get through the whole 2.5 hours (seriously) haha! Ethan wasn't impressed either, so needless to say, we were thankful we didn't have to spend money on THAT. LOL

Project 365: Day 350- November 15th

Woke up this morning and immediately got started on my project that was due today for class.
We had to submit a Power Point project so I felt fairly confident that I could finish it in enough time... and sure enough, it got done! Thank the Lord. Here was the assignment description... not too tough :)

And after finishing my assignment, it was time to CLEAN this messy house! We let it go terribly over the weekend (we just wanted a relaxing weekend and by golly we got it, haha)... and I haven't had a vacuum since we moved in here... HOW GROSS! lol So, the floors hadn't been swept in about a month.. it was time! So, I vacuumed the floors, mopped the floors, dusted, did the dishes, did 2 loads of laundry, scrubbed the bathroom, cleaned our bedroom. It smelled so fresh and clean in here. I LOVED it. Here are some shots of our finally clean floors :)

Love me a clean house, haha! :) Ethan even enjoyed it as well lol! He said "Man, I love coming home from work to a clean house, sweetie!" :)

Then it was time to make some dinner. I was going to make this Nacho Chicken Chowder, but guess what? I forgot to buy corn AND tomatoes! What a dork! So, then it would have just been cheese and chicken... so instead, I made my own chicken concoction. I cut up 3 pieces of boneless, skinless chicken.. added a can of cheese soup and a can of cream of chicken soup and put it on high for about 2 hours. Then, I made some mashed potatoes and brown gravy and some cornbread. :) And that was our yummy dinner last night! It tasted so good (not to toot my own horn, haha)

The cornbread wasn't finished or I would have posted a picture of it too LOL But I was far too hungry to wait for it to get done! haha!

After that, we ran to the store, got some Orange Juice and Cranberry Juice and settled in for the night for a movie :) What movie you might be wondering? "When in Rome" ... yes, it was my night to pick a movie, obviously haha! But it was a REALLY cute movie! I loved it!

It had a great, unique cast-- Kristen Bell, Josh Duhamel, Danny Devito, Anjelica Huston, Jon Heder, Will Arnett... amazing :) We laughed through the whole thing!

Project 365: Day 349- November 14th

We got up this morning, grabbed some breakfast, went to the mall early so Ethan could look at hunting stuff (only to find that the store doesn't open til noon... hahaha... we were there at about 11:20 LOL) sooo we grabbed a sweet tea to share at Wendys and sat down on a bench to wait on the rest of the family to get there so we could all go putt-putting :) Finally Mom, Dad, Brad, & Lil' Ethan arrived and we were ready to get this party going :) We took pictures of those that got holes-in-one. (I had to stop taking pictures of myself.. I got 6 or 7 holes in one yesterday LOL I don't even know how! I'm a terrible putt-putter. I think it was the gravitational pull of Tayler hahha!) But here are a few shots of the day:

(Mom, Dad, and me got a hole in one on the first hole :))

(Just one of my many hole-in-ones lol! :))

(Daddy got a hole-in-one.. Mom made fun of this pose LOL)

(Mom and me hehe! The guys were getting so mad at this point haha!)

(UGH, super blurry but the point of this picture is that we all 6 got a hole in one! How crazy is that?? haha!)

(Mom, Ethan, and Brad, haha!)

(A rose between MANY thorns, haha! Me with Dad, Ethan, and Lil' Ethan :))

Well putt-putting was a blast! Dad won with a score of 37, then it was Ethan with a score of 41, and me with a score of 42. Best I've EVER done LOL! After putt-putting, we went to grab something to eat. I had chinese and it was soooooooo good... nothing like some sesame chicken over fried rice. Yum :) Then, Mom and I went to Joann Fabrics to grab some material for Tayler's curtains in her room and some material for me to make our tree skirt out of since we're putting that up next Friday :) YAY! Love me some Christmas time!

After that, Ethan and I went to Game Stop and since my boyfriend was fortunate enough to sell a vehicle and get some extra money, he bought a used Wii for us! How cool is that??

We were sooo excited! He also bought himself Call of Duty: Black Ops LOL Here he is with the gun playing it. It was sooo funny to watch LOL

and he bought me a game :) Which one?? "Are you Smarter Than a 5th Grader" hehe! We played that for awhile and figured out... WE AREN'T! LOL

And after playing a few games, we decided to pull up Netflix on our new Wii and watch a movie! That's one of the reasons I was DYING to get one! :) So, after much confusion and trying to figure out how to access the Wii shop LOL We finally figured it out, downloaded Netflix, and looked through tons of movies! We finally picked out "Law Abiding Citizen." :) Ethan had already seen it, but I hadn't and I was sooo excited because I had heard how good it was :) And oh my heavens! It was AMAZING!

Project 365: Day 348- November 13th

We woke up this morning and I got things organized to start Christmas shopping. *sigh* I'm slacking this year! And Ethan headed in to town with his brother. I was anxiously awaiting his return home because he said he had something for me and guess what he came home with...

WAR HEADS.

I have been looking for these since I freaking got pregnant! Sour stuff has been my craving and these are what I absolutely wanted. We have went everywhere looking for them and he found them at our mall :) God love him! He's the absolute sweetest. He even brought me home a chicken salad sub on toasted wheat from Tim Hortons. Another favorite of mine :) Thanks baby!

After that, we FINALLY got started on Tayler's bedroom. We hung up her polka dots and the letters to her name today. Here's the final product:

We are in LOVE with it. Here's Ethan getting the polka dots ready for me to hang up:

And the proud daddy after we got it completed:

He's SO weird LOL!!

And the proud momma. Sorry for how I am dressed. It was really hot in there LOL

I absolutely love it!

We had a great time working on it! I can't wait until we add the curtains (with hot pink accents), the crib, the changing table, and the recliner :) It'll all come together soon! I'll be sure to post pictures when we're done (you all know me, haha!)

After we got done working on that, we cuddled up on the couch and watched the "40 Greatest Videos of the Decade" on CMT. I LOVE LOVE LOVE country music so it was awesome to see videos from 2000-2010. We got to see videos we haven't seen or heard about in awhile-- "Forever and Always" by Shania Twain, "Believe" by Brooks and Dunn... I enjoyed every second of watching this :)

After that I went to bed. Ethan went out with some friends but I had ZERO energy and I could barely keep my eyes open, haha! I'm getting so old.. :P or just really, really tired. I think it's a lot of work to make a baby, haha!

Cheers to Project 365!

August 13th Journal Prompt: Anger.

The journal prompt of the day is: How do you deal with your anger? I bottle a lot of my emotions up inside. If I feel anger- it may show on...
