I'm 36 weeks pregnant...
And I have a labor question. (So this obviously goes out to all of the mommies out there reading...)
Who all did you tell when you went into labor (or who did you tell while you were in labor?)
Did you want people in it and out of your room? Did you keep it quiet? Was it just immediate family?
I'm struggling with this for a few various reasons.. I don't really want to go into ALL of them, but I'm just curious how YOU dealt with labor and the masses of people that wanted to be there...
Fill me in, please! :)

I was induced 3 days before my due date. I told EVERYBODY what was going on! I couldn't keep information to myself. I originally said that I only wanted my mom and Bethany in the room with me, but that changed. My Dad and Linda, Mom, Beth and Aunts and friends were there. I would just have them leave when the nurses had to check me. There was I time I told them to be quiet because I was in so much pain at the time. But when I started pushing it was just Mom and Beth. Bethany actually cut the umbilical cord! So I feel like I gave you way to much info!! Hope it helps!!

i had my hubby and mother ONLY the entire time of labor.. my MIL is just plain crazy and overbearing so she sat in the waiting room ( and actually tried to sneak past the nurses to get to me.. BUT they knew my wishes and gaurded the door LOL)
then after no baby after 24 hours i had my c-section and hubby came with me for that
u could always let ppl back and ask them to leave if its not working for you.. i needed quiet and peace to deal with the pain.. after labor i have lost all MODESTY but just wasnt comfortable with my whole family seeing my "area" LOL
im so excited for you.. about the time u are having this baby we will be finding out if were pregnant this month...
ive been thinking about it since you posted a status about blogs the other day and i decided to start a blog of my mommy adventures and this ttc journey..
maybe u can gicve me ideas for where to find the tutorials you used??
Well... I wish I could have had Derek there. It would have just been him and I. But I instead, had my Grandma and two of my husband's bosses wives there.. I say do what you want. No one is going to be mad that you didn't call them so they could be there. They're going to be thrilled that you had precious Tayler & that should be good enough for them.
