Project 365: Day 312- October 8th

I spent my morning FINALLY feeling better--- cleaning this place up. Oh, why? Because-- we are moving! That's right-- we are moving! So, we've been working on cleaning the place, getting things together, organizing, etc. We currently live in a 1 bedroom apartment and we finally got word that we were approved for a 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom trailer less than a mile from us. It is sooo nice! I will finally have a 2-tub sink, washer/dryer, and a shower head I can actually reach! :) We are sooo happy! I will post pictures of the house on Monday-- our move in day!

and I was sooo tired from cleaning and sooo hungry.. and I heard a knock at the door. Oh, guess what? It was our neighbor with a huge salad for me. I had already eaten half of it when I took this picture, but oh my heavens, it was sooo good! It had lettuce, sliced cheese, carrots, green peppers, and tomatoes doused in italian dressing. Best salad I have ever had, hands down. I don't know if it's because I was so freaking hungry or if it was really that good, but either way-- I enjoyed it to the last bite!

And here's a document of this belly. I had to take a picture of it. You're obligated when you're wearing a cute, tight sweater--

And oh my heavens, Ethan brought home Quiznos for dinner. Yes, I had a yummy Honey Bourbon Chicken sandwich on toasted wheat bread. It was absolutely amazing! I ate every bite-- quickly!

It was a great day!

Project 365: Day 311- October 7th

I woke up this morning rather sick.... I tried to make Ethan some breakfast-- gravy over toast. His favorite. I had to keep taking breaks (laying down on the couch to relax  the urge to vomit, haha) and I FINALLY finished the breakfast, laid it on the table, laid back down in bed, and no more than a minute later I was in the bathroom. Ethan didn't even ask for breakfast, I was just trying to be nice. This baby just doesn't like early mornings, haha! He/she is JUST like their momma! LOL

Finally I started feeling better. I got up, showered, dressed, and headed in to town to have some lunch with my mom. We went to the Pizza Hut buffet. I was craving a HUGE salad and that's exactly what I had. Lettuce, cheese, egg, bacon, onion, and ranch dressing. Oh, I sure wouldn't mind having that now! Then I had 2 slices of deep dish pepperoni pizza, 2 breadsticks, and lots of pizza sauce. Golly, it was amazing!! Plus, I got to spend some time with my amazing mother!

When I arrived, mom told me how adorable and "motherly" I looked haha! I had a cute little jean skirt on that went about right to the knee and a maternity tank top. hehe! It felt good to hear her tell me I looked good-- looked good at 14 weeks pregnant! Yes, that's right. Yesterday brought me to 14 weeks pregnant! Hard to believe it's been 10 weeks since I saw a positive pregnancy test!

16 days til we find out what "it" is! :)

I then came home and worked on my "project" and watched the first season of Gilmore Girls. I've never seen it before, so I'm trying to see if I like it-- and thus far, I do! :)

Then Ethan got home and he was in the mood for some pizza.... and even though I just had it, I told him it sounded yummy so we had a deluxe pizza, breadsticks, and salad... again, haha! :)

And I went to the gas station and picked up my recent craving--

Yummy yummy honey roasted peanuts!! :)

And we cuddled up and went to bed!

And I figured I would follow in my pal Rachel's footsteps and do "5 Question Friday" thanks to Mama M. at "My Little Life"

 1. What do you listen to while driving?

In July 2009, I got an amazing gift--the iPod touch. First of all, if you've never seen one of these things, operated one of these things, or constantly ask sweet little teenagers, "What is this?" (love you Grandma!)-- go check one out! I have a whole collection of music and I usually start off my drive with some Katy Perry "Teenage Dream." Here recently however, I've been addicted to the song "Just By Being You" by Steel Magnolias. Yea, go check this stuff out!

2. What is your least favorite thing about fall?

Obviously, that it's over too soon! I am such a cold-lover! My favorite time of year is Fall and Winter. Mmm! I love weiner roasts, hay rides, apple cider, painting pumpkins, sweaters, boots, hats. Screw my least favorite thing--- I love it all!

3. What does your dream house look like, inside and out?

Outside-- brick. Gorgeous, gorgeous brick. Soft tan shutters. 2 car garage. Huge wrap around porch. Huge front yard. Huge back yard. In-ground pool. Deck. Bar. The works. Oh, I dream big.

Inside- 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. Kitchen with an island, a bar set-up for the kiddos to sit at and eat, do homework, etc. Huge living room. Fire place. Master bedroom-- fireplace. (I love fire-places, can you tell?) Whirl pool bath tub. Relaxation at it's finest. Man cave for the men in my lives. Pool table. Big screen. Surround sound. Go big, or go home.

4. Would you ever own a mini-van?

Absolutely. I will one day. I can rock the soccer-mom look. haha!

5. Do you wash new clothes before wearing them?

Heck no! Too excited to put them on to wash them!

Enjoy!

Project 365: Day 310- October 6th

I woke up this morning... and guess what I was craving? You guessed it.... FUNFETTI CUPCAKES. Oh my heavens, yummy. But lets be honest with each other here-- the only reason I enjoy baking is because I'd prefer to eat the cupcake mixture BEFORE baking the cupcakes. Oh, I lick the giant spoon. I lick the bowl. There's just something about it. You know you like licking the batter too. Don't be shy, haha! And while making these scrumptious cupcakes, I wanted to watch a scary movie so I put in "An American Haunting." I hadn't seen it yet. While it was a spooky-ish movie, it was a tad bit cheesy. I have to say I was surprised too because Sissy Spacek was in it and I didn't think she'd do such a "by-the-book" movie. However, I wanted a nice little spook-- and it did it for me :)

Then, once Ethan got off work, I made breakfast for dinner--- french toast, regular toast, scrambled eggs, and bacon.. oh and orange juice! It was super yummy! I had regular toast, scrambled eggs, and lots of bacon. OH, it was amazing!

And after stuffing ourselves full, we went for a walk on the nature trail. It's absolutely gorgeous... and it was such a relaxing adventure. Here we are there:

And then, we picked up some more pumpkins and PAINTED PUMPKINS AGAIN! :) Oh, we all know this is one of my absolute favorite activities, hehe! We get all of our supplies laid out on the living room floor, turn on some scary music on youtube such as the music here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qMfoRqbS-Ko

and then we paint! Tonight we painted pumpkins for our baby. Since we still don't know what we're having, we wanted 2 pumpkins (one for each gender) hehe! So, Ethan painted one for if we have a baby girl-- Tayler and I painted one for if we have a baby boy-- Parker! Ready to see this art? haha! Here goes :)

Ethan with his creepy face and pumpkin that says-- "THE TATER MONSTER" haha! (When we first thought it was a girl, he called her his "Tater Bug" LOL) And here's some upclose pictures of his pumpkin:

And I did one for Parker-- our little P-man hehe!

And here's some upclose pictures of that:

(This was a joke-- even though Ethan told me it was creepy LOL but it says "I'll be here to haunt you next year." I just meant that Parker will be here next year for Halloween, haha!)

And then we turned on Zathura.. and fell asleep in the middle of it, haha! We are so old LOL

Project 365: Day 309- October 5th

I woke up this morning and it was a bit of a rough morning. Morning sickness has passed for the most part, but some mornings are a tad bit on the ickier (is that a word?) side. However, I soon digested some sausage biscuits and a sprite and started feeling somewhat normal again. So, I worked on my "project" for a few minutes and then got started on painting more polka dots to hang from the baby's walls. We are doing a black and white polka dot theme if you'll remember, so I've been working on painting the black and white circles while we are still in limbo land as to what Baby B is.

And speaking of not having any idea what gender this lil' rug rat is-- we have some GREAT news. We are getting a 3D/4D ultrasound October 23rd and we will FINALLY know what Baby B is! I know, I say finally like I'm 23 weeks pregnant or something, haha! But you're dealing with 2 very impatient parents here that are dying to know-- and getting broken hearted every time we get a phone call that says "Do you know what you're having yet? I'm at the store and I saw this really cute...." Honestly, I think it's a boy, but only time will tell! 17 days! :)

Oh and our stockings came in today! I personalized Ethan and mine and I'll do the baby's once we know what "it" is! If I haven't told everyone yet, Tayler will be her name if she is a girl and Parker will be his name if he's a boy! :) He/she is having a stocking this year! We want them included in everything already hehe :)

And Ethan called and decided to cook me dinner tonight--- hamburger gravy, mashed potatoes, and corn. He knows how much I just LOVE that. He was such a man cooking it too, haha... drinking a beer, cooking away. It was so so yummy too!

And here I am waiting... LOL

It was a good, Fall day-- just like I like it! COLD! :) It's supposed to warm back up starting tomorrow--- which I'm not thrilled about, haha. I hate the heat-- ugh. LOL I don't like to complain and I probably sound oh so weird, but I'm a fall/winter kind of girl. They make me happy :) So lets get here fall and STAY here!

Project 365: Day 308- October 4th

I couldn't sleep very well last night (or this morning for that matter) so I spent the morning editing my Mommy Blog! I really like it! I have a new program where I can make my own headers and what not... I'm learning hehe! :)

And I'm FINALLY getting over my morning sickness, sooo now I'm hungry... ALL THE TIME. I have plenty of snacks now-- raisins, jello, pudding, apple sauce, gushers :) Today my choice was lots of jello.... strawberry! Oh it was so so yummy!

And after chowing down and working on my "project" I decided it was time to catch up on the Baby's Scrapbook and I'm finally caught up to 11 weeks pregnant :) I'll have to go and get more pictures as time progresses (probably about 15-16 weeks, we shall see!)

Here's my OSU Buckeye page hehe!

And 10 weeks pregnant page (how adorable!)

And I finished the night with a yummy cup of hot cocoa and watching "Shutter Island." What a mind-boggling movie! I never saw that ending coming... I would talk more about it but I don't want to write any spoilers for those readers that haven't watched it yet. All I can say is if you haven't seen it, GET IT :)

Cheers to Project 365! :)

Project 365: Day 307- October 3rd

I spent a little bit of time outside yesterday just thinking... enjoying the gorgeous day. Some wouldn't call a high of 48 and rain gorgeous, but let me tell you--- this is my kind of weather! I LOVED having a sweater on, dark jeans, boots, my jacket with my furry hat, and my gloves! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this time of year! And since I was absolutely freezing out there.... I made some grilled cheese and tomato soup once I got inside. Yummy! It was the perfect day for it!

And after enjoying this, I went and got a shower, put on some pajamas, and cuddled up in my bed to work on this very blog. I wanted a change... something different.. something a little more organized.. a little more me. And this is what I came up with-- what do y'all think? Do you like the new look?

And after working on this and feeling completely exhausted from the weekend, cuddled up, and watched "The Disappeared." It was a pretty creepy movie actually. It's a British movie so you had to really listen to what they were saying-- and it was a mind bender. You had to really focus and at times, you got frustrated because the movie kept dragging on and you still had no idea who was who, etc. Thank God for Netflix! :) I get to experience all of these diverse types of movies hehe!

Project 365: Day 306- October 2nd

My day started off with watching the Ohio State Buckyes play Illinois at my parent's house! :) Mom fixed some amazing nachos and brownies.... mmm!! We had so much fun watching it on the big screen. Ohio State really didn't step it up yesterday however and I was really disappointed in that. Pryor was all over the field, Posey wasn't catching anything... However, I'm a loyal fan and I had faith that they would be able to get it together.... and they FINALLY did. They beat Illinois 24 to 13. Congrats Buckeyes! We'll see you next Saturday, Indiana!

Also, I picked up tons of books yesterday to help with a "project" I've been working on :)

I really need to get working on it considering I start classes again October 12th. 9 days! We can do it :)

Cheers to Project 365!

The journal prompt of the day is: How do you deal with your anger? I bottle a lot of my emotions up inside. If I feel anger- it may show on...
