Alphabet Weeks-- G Week

It's 'G-Week' from June 23rd-June 27th and here are our activities:

Monday, June 23rd-- Make chocolate pudding, put it in a plastic bag, and make letter 'Gs' with it! This was an idea given to me by my 8th grade teacher on Facebook.. sounds fun and I think Tayler will love it.. hopefully Quinn will too!

Tuesday, June 24th-- Make a GREEN paper chain and hang it up in the play room!

Wednesday, June 25th-- We are going to eat GREEN BEANS too in honor of G WEEK! Tayler and Quinn love them, so I think everyone will enjoy this! We are going to have Shake and Bake chicken (another Tayler favorite) and mashed potatoes (a Quinn favorite) too!

Thursday, June 26th-- We are going to the parade in our home town this evening and our task will be to point out all of the 'G' words we can find there!

Friday, June 27th-- We're going GROCERY shopping. We'll point out the 'G' words there too as we pass by them. The girls love GROCERY shopping!

GREAT!

21 Weeks Pregnant

21 Weeks Pregnant as of [06.18.2014]

Have I said before how much I LOVE maxi dresses?? They're definitely my go-to during this summer pregnancy. I could wear shorts and a tank top, which I have plenty of, but for some reason, I just don't feel confident in shorts this summer. I feel MUCH better in maxi dresses, so there you have it :) I would love to get a maxi skirt, but I just haven't found one I adore! Maybe eventually-- hubby has his 6-year (they missed the 5-year lol) class reunion soon and I would love to have one for that night! We'll see :)

I can feel baby boy kicking as I'm walking now. It's so much fun. I was shopping the other night and I could feel him moving all over-- this is definitely when all of the fun starts! We can see him kicking on the outside too which is awesome for Ethan! He loves being able to look down and see it (even though he says it creeps him out sometimes that I have a human being in my stomach LOL Men!)

Someone asked me the other day how miserable I am. Now, of course, I'm only 5 months along, but thankfully, it has been a pretty good Summer! I think I'm worse during the heat when I'm NOT pregnant than I am when I AM pregnant. I am really grateful we conceived when we did for this one because I always swore I would never have a Summer pregnancy, but this happened, and I had to roll with it-- and I am so happy that it did.. when it did :) It forced me to get out of my comfort zone-- and it forced me to have a child with birthdays NOT close to the girls. There's only 30 days (and 2 years of course) between the girl's birthdays and that makes birthday planning fast.. and crazy! At least I will have 6 months between this one and the first birthday party in March :) Whoo!

'BabyBump' says baby is about 10.5" long and about 12.7oz. They estimate that he is about the size of a large banana :)

We have 16-19 weeks (112-133 days) left!! :) Seems like it's going really fast-- and all we have is a freaking bag of clothes sitting in his room (which is decorated in Disney princesses from the previous owners LOL) I'd say we have our work cut out for us-- eek!

Now, weekly question time:

How far along? 21 weeks.
Total Weight Gain? 3 so far :)
Maternity Clothes? Just LOTS AND LOTS of maxi dresses!!
Stretch Marks? I have some from both pregnancies already!
Sleep:  It's been a rough week for sleep! Not sure why, just is! :(
Best Moment of This Week: Feeling baby while walking around :) He's getting big!
Miss Anything? Just not being worried all of the time! I know that sounds horrible, but when you're pregnant, you're making sure you feel baby, making sure no one hits baby, making sure when you're sick, baby is still fine. I feel like a worry wart sometimes  :( I mean, I worry about my girls, but at least their outside of my belly and I can see them and know everything is okay.
Movement: Yes!
Food Cravings: Nothing really :/
Anything Make You Queasy or Sick? Not really! Feeling good this week!
Gender: BOY!!
Labor Signs: I'd sure hope not! :)
Symptoms: Nausea in the AM, peeing constantly, feeling movement :)
Belly Button In or Out? She's an innie!
Wedding rings on or off? On and sometimes off at night! My hands seem to swell then for some reason?
Happy or Moody this Week?  Moody-- I feel awful for my husband this week!
Looking Forward To: We have a doctor's appointment Wednesday-- I can't wait to hear his heartbeat :)

Cheers to 21 weeks.. on to 22 weeks!!

Recap of 'Letter E' Week

Letter E Activities
We are going to be on vacation for a few days of 'E' week, so I tried to incorporate some fun stuff at our hotel with the letter 'E!' We'll see how it goes! :)

Monday, 6/9/2014: Take a picture with an ELEPHANT. Discuss how elephant begins with the letter E. Tayler loves saying the word elephant, so this should be a lot of fun for her  :)

Tuesday, 6/10/2014: EAT something new! We will discuss that EAT starts with the letter 'E' and we will try something new! This is mostly geared towards Tayler because she is extremely picky! And since we will be on vacation, it seems like the perfect opportunity!

Wednesday, 6/11/2014: Trace the letter 'E' (and learn to draw it on our own too!) and hang it on the fridge.

Thursday, 6/12/2014:  Today, we are going to point to our EARS and learn about how they work.

Friday, 6/13/2014: EYES. We are going to discuss the fact that EYES begin with the letter 'E' and we are going to draw EYES on a sheet of paper!

This was a busy week with vacation, but I tried to do as much as I could with the Letter E :) I'm excited for letter 'F' this week! Lots of fun planned :)
